You could either download it to a smartphone or I’ll just look it up on the database. The former would be easier if possible as it’ll be a bit quickerGhost_Of_1883 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 3:25 pmI haven't received my season ticket yet like, what happens if it doesn't arrive by Saturday?

I’d expect if no further incomings in defence then we’ll start with the 5 at the back that played the second half against Telford.

Re: Experienced centre half’s.
Yeah I would agree with that. McMahon just about managed it albeit at non league level, I guess that’s the sort of scenario I was thinking of. He’s maybe hoping that come Jan there are some injuries somewhere and he can step in. Trouble is he doesn’t want to travel out of the area yet wants to play ...

Re: Experienced centre half’s.
Perhaps Darlo are the one club who could rekindle Wheater's love for the game. Sad indictment of the game today that he ever lost it. This would explain why he seems to have gone off the radar. Maybe part time football would be better for him than the demands of the full time game. However if he ha...

Beck in the 16-17 season was amazing. The season after when he was 'ineffective', Gray clearly played him when he was injured and our policy was to lump long balls to him. Unforgettable was the South Shields match when the instructions were 'Give it to Becky'. He gives any team an extra dimension i...

It’s all a bit of a fallacy, Nuneaton were “full time” on probably less than our budget at one stage but had a team full of kids. Spennymoor probably have one of the best “part-time” budget. It means little tbh. We could go full time next season with the budget we have but the senior pros who have a...

More notable for who was missing from our team. No Storey Breadon Hatfield Mondal or Rivers so a very makeshift team with new midfielder Purver playing in central defence. Tyrone ONeill played and described as on trial. Please sign him up before somebody else comes in for him. Tyrone has been made ...

Re: Players on trial
Just wondered if anyone knows who was at the 1st pre season training, only one I recognised was Ty O’Neill which would be quite delectable if we somehow got him in. Also for a bit of fun I’m gonna guess that the following are on trial/in talks to sign (I am fully aware that 95% are most likely wron...

Alun has clearly put his eggs in the wait and try and get better players basket rather than sign anyone who is available now like Blyth have done. Time will tell which approach is correct

Yeah it’s like the secret society when it comes to player news atm. I absolutely get not revealing names of targets which could alert other clubs (although these days agents will be pimping them anyway) but we can do better than we are doing at the moment in keeping fans abreast of goings on, especi...

Re: Local'ish clubs released lists
Melvin Minter released by Harrogate. I don't get the way people drool over Minter. He had some decent games but his distribution with both hand and foot were diabolical virtually every game I saw on TV. His throw out normally went behind the player or was sent to a player who was being closed down ...

:D The problem for Alun is that he needs to make signings now, but it's very hard for him to know what his budget will be, when btb runs to the end of May. Perhaps the club should look to run btb in future years through April? True about not knowing final budget till end of May, and I appreciate it ...

Re: Boost the budget 2021
On the BBC Sport webpage there is an article about a "Fan Engagement Index" whereby all league clubs are rated in how they communicate and interact with their fans. Exeter are top, and their fans raised £100K for them - less than us :D Meanwhile Salford sit in the bottom 6, meaning Mr Neville doesn...

Knowing what we know, do you think if anyone has missed the deadline and contacts the club for a refund do you think it’s going to be refused? The quicker we can get an estimate of the budget we might be working with next season, the quicker Alun can get planning. The deadline is to promote some urg...

Good to see the players taking advantage of the community testing. A very responsible approach and hopefully encourages anyone else who is out there in the community regularly to do the same https://darlingtonfc.co.uk/news/darlington-fc-supports-community-testing-scheme?fbclid=IwAR1f5bO9Q77R9gMmMenr...

And Spennymoor have done the same. Fair play, this is a superb, strongly worded statement: https://spennymoortownfc.co.uk/2021/02/05/statement-from-the-chief-executive-managing-director/ Spennymoor Town is a semi-professional football club, many of whose players have primary forms of employment whi...

I would expect that a more likely outcome if we were forced to play on and had to make some significant cost savings to do soPierremontQuaker03 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 8:42 amIts a shame but it's been on the cards.
The squad will be broken up but on the pitch we weren't great. I presume Nicky Hunt will retire and a few others will go.

Re: League restarts 6 February
Reading this. If the clubs who don't want to null and void in Step 2 are clever about it they should vote against resolution 1. That would make that resolution passing with 75% unlikely. It would then require 75% in favour of null and void for resolution 4 which again is unlikely given most Step 1 ...

Re: Press Release from the League
I imagine 28 days is a standard rule they have to adhere to but once all votes have been submitted they will be able to shut that window. It’s not in the interest of any club to lengthen proceedings so I’d expect we’ll get an answer a fair bit quicker

There are warehouses full of these lateral flow tests - the money has been sunk for them (£1bn) and they’re not actually as useful as they were mooted to be (shock horror). I’m sure we’ll read in months / years that there are still loads of them that never get used and end up being incinerated at so...

I could see the argument for FT players not using community testing and having testing paid for by the club but given our players are PT and most have other jobs why shouldn’t they utilise the community testing just as you or I would?
