Re: Potential stadium move
The big question is if we play there, will we ever leave? I really hope this is all contingency planning and that our home will remain the Arena, for the short/medium term at least. My main concern is that if we play at a ground below BSN level, we'll never be promoted and then we'll just be anothe...

Re: Potential stadium move
Shildon's ground is OK. It only has 2 turnstiles and you're going to have to stalk the players back down into the tunnel to get to the clubhouse. The club shop is a portakabin. It has one main stand (seating). This is on top of the clubhouse and tunnel. Opposite to that is a tin shed which stretche...

Re: Goalkeeper Lewis Brass
Someone who goes to my school was on Darlo's books. He played for the U16's but has been recently told he has to be let go, the reason DFC gave him was that we cannot afford you. He's just signed for Sunderland.

Re: Its all down to Raj
My logic was that he may have convinced business associates to 'loan' DFC money as well. If that was the case, and he was to shaft them with the CVA and close the club, it could have consequences with his dealings with them outside of football. Would you want further business dealings with a man wh...

Re: Its all down to Raj
Does anyone have any idea how much we owe to creditors OTHER than Raj? Does anyone know who these other creditors are? Its a long shot, but if the other creditors are business's that have dealings with Raj outside of football, he might be shooting himself in the foot elsewhere if he doesn't agree t...

Re: Its all down to Raj
Everyone can say he let the club die on January 18th. Yes he did but, the company looking to takeover was the eco-housing and snow dome one. They wanted to develop the land immediately and exploit where Raj failed. This time however, it is a community based club with smaller capital. Hopefully this ...

Re: Its all down to Raj
Reading the Echo today it all boils down to whether Raj keeps to his word and agrees to walking away from his £800k. If he doesnt we are finished. Haven't had chance to read the story but that's always been the case from day one hasn't it? What's new? The clauses he wants are against FA rules . Is ...

Re: Watching the FA trophy goal
Mansfield may be third top but still might not achieve anything through the play offs but our name will always be engraved on the Trophy for everyone to see and we will always have those fantastic memorys. So you would rather be where we are now than where Mansfield are now? Playoff's over a tinpot...

Re: Mansfield v Wrexham
Mark Cooper just described Joe Clarke as being very fit, versatile and a very good player.
So much so he shipped him back off to Solihull Moors mid-season! Another Cooper masterstroke.

Re: Next up: Central Defence
I've only supported Darlington for 3 seasons. The best centre half partnership I saw was Miller and Foster, particularly against Burton Albion in our relegation season at home. We won 1-0. They were immense that game.
