Re: Caton watch

Just had a look at Caton's progress on his loan. Has completed a total of 458 mins on the pitch since he joined Stalybridge on Sept 21 with three assists and no goals. Last played on Dec 1 and his loan due to expire in January. Wonder if they will be offering big bucks to keep him for the season as...

Re: York V Darlington

York dropped 6 players from the 16 on Saturday compared to Boxing Day with 5 of the starting 11 changed. I imagine they will be fresher than we are, we looked tired on Saturday, which listening to Palmer's interview it doesn't surprise as he is used to playing at most once a week if not every other...

Re: Altrincham V Darlington

It was a spirited battling performance but god knws how many goals we will have to score to win a game. We were undone down the flanks yet again. TW's triple subs after 64 mins didn't help our cause, we conceded seconds later and spent much of the second half on the back foot desperately trying to ...

To clarify, if this was the league, or the FA Cup/Trophy, it would be massive. This is however, of no importance whatsoever. To clarify, this is Darlo vs Hartlepool. This is everything. As for crowd, this will be 2,000 plus easily.   Yer right! You and TW could have a conversatio...

From the reaction online this could potentially be the highest gate of the season. The comments you must be reading are from people who are on the same planet as TW! I doubt we will get 1,000 but happy to be proved wrong. I fully expect you to be proved wrong mate. Think it'll be a good crowd there...

Re: Netcafe - 14 December 2018

From what I've seen so far: Next years budget will be lower than this years - regardless of relegation or not. Seems to be suggesting if we are still in this league the target will be more to keep clear of relegation than playoffs. There was a remark about the rugby club being very patient in respe...

Just saw that and thought the same. Seems strange that we would give him a pay rise substantial enough for him to quit the day job. He's not going to be training full time and you wouldn't think we'd be paying him to take on any coaching, even in the academy, at this stage in his career. From Faceb...

Re: Tommy's interview - seething

I'm not certain relegation will be a catastrophe, as long as we have a manager in place that can inspire the supporters. It might give us the breathing space to rebuild properly, and won't result automatically in a huge drop in income because you get so little from the league at this level anyway. ...
