Re: Season VOIDED
Back on subject, I notice Rugby Union has managed to sort out their leagues in a sensible manner. Although I accept their’s were easier to come to a conclusion that satisfied most. You say that, but Ealing who are 2nd in Championship are seeking legal advice with a view to proceedings because they ...

Re: Season VOIDED
After 30+ games the league table does not lie and is as good an indication of teams ability as you could hope to have in these circumstances. If only a small number of games had been played it would be much less so. PPG would be the fairest way to decide things rather than voiding the season I beli...

Re: Season VOIDED
It’s also why I said 12 clubs have integrity. Based on his comment on social media I don't think FC United have challenged it. Neil Reynolds perspective, and they were second on PPG, was that there are more important things and they will reorganise for the new season. To say clubs who haven't chall...

Re: Season VOIDED
Whilst in a perfect world the season would be picked up from where it has been paused, the contractual situation of players, staff, insurance and sponsors, etc, make it impossible to continue beyond the regular end of the season. With so much of the season played, I would have preferred to see a PP...

Re: Season VOIDED
I think this thread is quite a measured view on why even PPG isn't perfect. Also seems to suggest 45/60 clubs who signed the letter would be promoted under PPG - not really a surprise they think it is unfair. https://twitter.com/DaleJohnsonESPN/status/1244972439957889026?s=19 I think it was always ...

Re: Season VOIDED
There are teams in relegation spots who have hit form and with every chance of getting out of trouble who would just be relegated under PPG despite their efforts in battling back. Equally you've got a side like King's Lynn who would be promoted under PPG whose form over the last 6 games had collaps...

Re: Season VOIDED
Agree with Gramps would have decided promotion and relegation on a PPG basis which would have been the fairest way with the majority of the season completed. It would have been transparent and provided a clear resolution to the current situation. Under such a scheme Barrow would be promoted to the ...

Re: Season VOIDED
Where the fa have slipped up is doing things back to front they should have blocked relegation and promoted the top two clubs where possible throughout the pyramid many leagues would have started with extra teams next season admittedly. But therefore clubs have increased revenue from the two extra ...

Cannot imagine how South Shields are feeling right now, miles clear of 2nd place and quite a few players and staff full time.Must have cost their owner a small fortune for nothing at the end of it. Re: Season VOIDED
Considering next season could well be affected too then its my view that this season should be concluded properly when appropriate. The FA, if they have the power to void things, also have the power to ban all transfers of players between clubs until the season is concluded, even if the contracts a...

Re: Season VOIDED
I have always thought that this was the only fair option for all ,..... Not sure how this is fair on teams who have won their league or like Liverpool in Premiership are virtually certain to win the league. The judicial challenge will I guess centre on the season being 75% complete it is not fair o...

Just watched Leeds v Toronto, are Leeds that good or Toronto very poor ? Think its both, I will say right now HKR will not go down ED ! Being a Rhinos fan I’m loving this season, so far..... But like you I’m not convinced they’re that good, need a few big games to really judge them! Salford are the...

Having never watched it before, I've gone from thinking that it was utter pap when Trots first went in to now watching the past couple of episodes and slowly being sucked into the Love Island vortex   Anyways, as for how Luke T's getting on (there's another Luke, Luke M, who somehow m...

For me I’d have liked us to have hoops as our identity. I realise we haven’t played in them for our entire history but they are unique and have certainly been around in our more successful years too! I can also understand we’re a small club and need to change things around to try and sell more kits...

That doesn't quite tie in with what he said when he arrived... that he was in it for the long haul and it was long-term project. Only Pete could be forecasting the end of the AA era after it has only just really begun! Spoke to somebody last Saturday, who talks to AA & more or less said what I said...
