Re: Open Day - Shirts and Season Tickets

The difference between this year and previous years is all of the profit is going towards making our club better. It is irrelevant which division we're in, a shirt is a shirt.

Re: Darlington FC Online Store

Hi Hilly, I've done a bit of research and found this: Does PayPal permit transactions for pre-sale items? Pre-sale items are advertised for sale before the seller has the items. Often, these items are sold before they are available to the general public. Or, the seller uses the funds from the sale t...

I'm with Hilly on this one. All these little things are so important to get right, the merchandise looks terrible, the badge is so poor quality it's unreal. It's void of colour and looks cheap. It looks as though someone has cut out the colours using photoshop, but forgot some bits of white in the d...

Re: Official Poll - name change

Tori, and everyone else for that matter, do you think it would be a good idea to have a couple of stages of votes? So say take the best 3 winners of this extensive list, and put them into a final vote, that means everyone who voted for one that didn't make the final cut will still get a chance to pi...

I dont like the 1883 in the name unless it was at the front (a poor attempt to make it sound like we have history from back in 1883 by including in the name) We do!... and by adding 1883 to the end it's a statement of us still being the same club even if it's not officially recognised. by putting i...

So does this mean we're exempt from the debts of the former club? - We really could do without such a massive financial burden - I'm sorry to to the people who are owed money, but it isn't our responsibility is it? - it's the former clubs'

Re: New Strip Chosen

How about taking pre-orders for shirts on the Darlington club shop site? Then we can order accordingly quickly instead of just taking a stab in the dark at how many of every size we will need every time we re-stock. The system of ordering on demand worked wonders with the scarfs, and it's good that ...

I dont get why clubs don't canvass fans opinions more when it's them who will be buying it. Own goal IMO Especially as we're a fans club, we should have most definitely asked fans opinions before committing, and if we're paying for a bespoke design, surely keeping it simple is cheaper? Care to shar...

The stupid side panels, too many hoops and half hoops, needless red - I don't see why we need that. The side panels confuse me slightly, from the front they are white, from the back they are black. And if they are half white / half black then It all seems a little too much. Also, I don't like the w...

Re: new strips

Can you make sure they are full unbroken hoops please?

There are so many 'kind of, almost hoop designs', where they are broken by a white vertical line under the arms or have a black back.

Let's get back to traditional hoops, plain and simple smart design because less = more.

Thank you :)

WE are Darlington - the fans! and no matter what the FA say, or rule, WE are the continuation of this great club that WE all love. I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but on the 200percent website it mentions that Fleet Town FC were told that they won't be relegated to tier 5 http://www.twohundredpercent.net/?p=18766 I guess then something from above them has to give, in order to make the space for them, so It could b...

I can picture the scene later in the year when it's going to rain a great deal on matchdays. Hopefully there might be just too many fans to fit in the shed and seating areas if it is raining, which means some people are going to be left out in the soaking rain. Do you think it would be a wise idea f...

I too would be fully behind a move back to Feethams, even if it meant staying two years at Shildon instead of one. We're in a unique position of potentially going back there. If we go anywhere else that will be it forever, so for me it's worth trying to put everything into get back there if there is...

I think it's a bad idea to do 2 for 1 unless every share is available for 2 for 1 (just make more shares available) People stopped buying because they felt they were paying double for exactly the same thing that someone else had bought for cheaper. If having a 2 for 1 tag make people more likely to ...

It's going to take a bit of extra effort to get people to one of the grounds we're considering playing at for the next season, so we need to do everything we can to make it easy for people to get there. Is this happening for this Saturdays game, or have we given up trying to get big crowds in?
