Brilliant another conspiracy theory for some Darlo fans to jump on. I note this was FTMH's first post.

Re: How many players has Turd signed now?
I'd have a bit more respect if you actually came along to the matches Quakerz. Darlo need support from fans like you more than ever before.
I agree with you on Colin Todd but he is trying his best and deserves a bit more respect than you are giving him.

Rather than patting each on the back I would be asking why after 6 months admin an ex-director was the only buyer? I mean its not like we had no assets? More to this story? Take the owner at face value and until shown otherwise assume all actions are intended to be in the best interests of Darlingt...

Re: New loan signing
Maybe we should be looking at the defnsive cover provided to the full backs by the wide midfielders. Most central defenders should be able to do a job at full back. Shut up walshy, what a load of grade A rubbish. For example over the years Ian Miller, Joey Hutchinson, Adam Reed, Mattie Appelby have...

Re: Colin Todd
Just one question for all you Todd-outers. If Singh were to lose his support for Todd - which I am sure he won't - how would we afford to pay him off? Through our huge budget.... Hmmm lots of people seem to be forgetting that we are actually paying him his wage anyway so by sacking him we don't inc...

Thomas Butler was very good on loan.
And don't forget super Robbie Painter was a bit special when he joined on loan initially. So good in fact the club splashed out something around 25k to sign him permanently.

Todd in the Echo - unbelievable
"“I would like to bring a couple of players in and the positions I’m looking at are fullbacks because we’ve currently got centre-backs playing at full-back,” explained Todd. ... Why the hell did you sign them then Colin? ... “I need to get something more in the attacking third from my full-backs. T...

Re: Should Beckham play in the World Cup ?
i am appalled that Capello still includes Beckham in his squads and seems intent on taking him to South Africa next year. By then he will be 35 and will not have been playing in a top league. His only remaining ability is his crossing. He can't tackle, has no pace and would not be able to play a wh...

Re: 50 plus applications for Lincoln job
That is one of the worst posts I have ever read. Why? Not only is it witty but it highlights the fallacy of the argument that we couldn't attract any applicants if we got rid of Colin Todd. Todd surely has just until the end of September, if he can't get at least 4 points out of the next 4 games he...

Thanks.

walshy the problem with your posts is that anyone who has read the board for a number of years has already come to the conclusion that you are a bit of a moron so your opinion doesn't carry much weight. All the actions of Raj Singh so far have been consistent with being committed to Darlo and wanting to run the football club properly. You are looking for things that aren't there. If I was working for DFC, reading this thread and the board in general would just want to make me give up! Darlo fans mu...

Has Todd done any interviews? I'd like to hear what he has to say but can't find anything. Extensive interview on Darlo's official site, imagine there will be some comments in the Echo's match report that will be online any time from around now. He was honest in saying that we just weren't good eno...

DFC was a business that was on the verge of going bust a few months ago, Houghton / Singh could just have sat back & let let the club go under in the summer.

Re: Thoughts on Vale
My thoughts on yesterday. Defensively we're solid enough - we're losing games by the odd goal, but the problem is not with conceding the goal, its the fact we are toothless upfront and can't get back into a game. Plummer looks good. Bains looks good enough. Knight is not good enough no matter what ...

Re: Vale's goal on Saturday
It's a fine line between success and failure, on another day this wouldn't have been given and the penalty would have gone in. We'll get the luck next time. Except Makka Pakka we could have conceded another 3 or 4 in the first half alone! Its only a matter of time before a team buts 5 or 6 past us.

Quakerz is right. Todd is the wrong man for the job, lets face it Todd only got the job because of his Middlesborough connections over a decade ago. Since he got Bolton promoted (1996) its been failure after failure. Sure we'll win a match soon, might even put 2 or 3 results together but the end res...

Look - if there is money on the table we will have to take it. We are not in a posistion to turn hard cash down. G Smith & J Smith - highly rated by who? They certainly didn't excel at their previous clubs and haven't impressed so far. so long as we get a fee for him thats fine. I don't think we're in a position of luxury to wait 2-3 years whilst his potential matures. would we really miss him? Are you nuts? Re: Darlington town has got the team it deserves
But the problem with this is, Todd has assembled a very capable set of players. Foster, Miller, Lumsdon, G Smith, J Smith, all highly rated players who should be more than capable at this level. Bower and Arnison were both highly rated by previous clubs fans as well. So why is the team not performi...
