Re: What an absolute shambles
Your right of course, but they are part of the matchday experience and given what is offered to fans on the park, they aren't getting much value full stop. No wonder nobody wants to watch us anymore. My youngest lad has a season ticket that hasn't been used yet and my old man who is also a season t...

He was my man of the match too. Milne looked quite good too, after a slightly shaky start. Bower showed why he has forged a career out of being a CB. Hall worried me a bit. I'd be happier with Foster or Miller in there personally, but it one of the more solid defensive performances of the season.

Did we?! I must have deleted that from my memory To be fair, this season has been a blur of despair, with the occasional bright spot. But only very occasional. So must of it has just mixed into one big memory of losing. Happy days.TinShedDarloFan wrote:We conceded a pen against Bournemouth at home

Oh for Dean Gerken now! Or even Simon Brown! I (wikipedia) have just found out that he signed a contract with Northampton until Jan 2010. I'd love it if he came back. Even if he conceded that really rubbish goal away to someone (Bury perhaps) we he carried it back across the line

Re: Staunton offered to resign & Mulligan off to Oldham.
Penney's teams knew how to defend well. In his first full season, we would have probably got promoted if we didn't have a ridiculous injury problem. We were keeping up with MK Dons and Peterborough, 2 massive spenders at L2 level, until the injury crisis. Last season we probably would have got promo...

Re: Our proud record is under serious threat.
We've won the last 2 games we've played at Torquay, which means we're bound to carry that on and thump them, sparking an amazing mid season revival, culminating in survival on the last day of the season. Or something like that anyway.

Blundell's joined Barrow with a view to a permanent transfer in Jan hasn't he? I wouldn't mind Ryan back mind you. Even if he must be knocking on a bit now.

I liked him when he saved us, obviously, but there always that suspicion that he was a bit crazy, which ultimately was his undoing. To me anyway. On the other hand Houghton seemed alright to me. But he wasn't much better. I can't work out which George is worse!

As for the deluded individuals who refuse to criticise Singh and Staunton, because we "haven't heard the full story" the full story was in fact given to the press in yesterday's Northern Echo by Staunton. I havn't read yesterday's Northern Echo, but as you imply you have, and it tells you the full s...

And he is our best player. By miles. I despair. He used to be. He isn't any more. FACT. Staunton & the club are right. Foster can't win this & needs to drop the clause. Who do you suggest is the best player at your club then? Given the players Staunton has signed, you have a squad of about 30 sh**e...

If (when?) we end up in the BSP, a few years of stability, and then we might be able to start thinking about a play-off push, a bit like York. There's obvioulsy the issue with the Arena though. It's not a very appetising prospect, but it's a hell of a lot better than starting from scratch in my opin...

The punctuation may not be very good but it's easy enough to understand. Anyway..I don't understand why people are giving Raj stick. But we can't stand Poolie. I would love Hartlepool to win every game between now and the end of the season if it meant we stayed up and actually started to progress without killing ourselves with debt. I don't give a flying fuck if Hartlepool lose or win at the moment, our plight is far more import...
