Re: Hazel
Got to be a part-exchange deal, as the 1st half against Chester proved we can do without Hazel & score goals. He is a luxury that Gowling cannot afford to keep picking unless Hazel can do more for the team, but I think it is a case of "you can't teach an old dog new tricks".

Re: Darlo v Chester
3-2 win, 33/1 with Betfred :D  Did you place a bet? Fair play to the team and management, off the bottom and now potentially 6 points from safety if you allow for current goal difference we probably need that extra point. On to Tuesday now. Only small stakes, but enough to get me down the pub...

Re: Darlo v Chester
TBF Nelson had a good first half, able to lay off & did plenty of covering back, more than Hazel did when he came on, ambling about then the one chance he had for 4-2, passed wide & gave all the responsibility to Will H. Salkeld scored a cracker & surprised everyone not least Chester by running at t...

It's OK, Josh knows Eddie Howe at Newcastle, he'll loan us top quality players to get us out of this mess....oh! Hull under 21's it is then FFS!!!!!!!! TBF Howe is rather busy with his own problems like team choice limited by Mags' injury crisis. What about we borrow Tonali, give him a disguise & f...

Re: Peterborough V Darlington
Things look bleak, very bleak. Thought Saturday may have been the turning point but unfortunately not. We’re going to need title challenging form after Christmas just to stay up.. I am sure there is some maths behind this - but in my simple mind. Don't we just need 9 more points than the teams arou...

Re: Peterborough V Darlington
I believe a bit of momentum and confidence would make a huge difference so even a point would be good, 3 would be fantastic, team wise - it has to be the same set up as Sat for me Quite right, we do need to keep up the winning ways but I think a couple of our Old Boys, Kaine Felix & Jordan Nicholso...

Credit to those who made trip.Team collectively did well &from DFR it was hard to pick a single MOTM. Hope we have turned the corner but worryingly we conceded against 10 men. Decent result yesterday however one swallow does not make a summer. A win on Tuesday will be crucial. Very true & don't for...

I see that Wrexham's owners are bemoaning the cost of success with reported losses of £10million over the last 2 years. Ok we haven't been promoted but at least we remained in the black!

Good job there are no "leavers" envelopes being passed around - would be more than the next BTB fund! And I'll have to invest in a programme or team sheet at every game just to keep up with the changes

Not until he has been given a fair crack of the whip and I would say until the New Year at least. Young lads are not capable of coping with the physicality & poor refereeing of the NLN. King's Lynn looked like a decent pub team & by chucking together a lot of lads who had never trained together was...

Re: Tommy Taylor
This decision continues to look the worst of all. Taylor is a perfectly solid NLN keeper. Replacing him with a young kid was, and remains, absolutely barmy. The way it has been done has probably also completely undermined Gowling’s authority if he brings him back. Spot on! Will be interesting now R...

Robson
Rowe Griffiths Lawlor Burton Hindley
Ngandu Platt Hatfield

Although he seems to like Salkeld so could find a spot for him

Re: Tommy Taylor
It was bizarre to bring in a loan keeper for 1 month when we have a decent permanent keeper. As a loan, the parent club would expect the loanee to get minutes in every game so best TT could have expected was to share the 90mns, but JG gave him none. We now stand to lose TT to the competition & no gu...

Still lumping too many aimless balls up front to lose possession. Really need to see someone running at their defence, causing panic & creating attacking options.

I for one am becoming a bit concerned about signing non-contract players from Leagues below us. Oh well time will tell. Just bought a ticket to stream the game so I can see formyself! Especially from teams who don't exist! There isn't, nor to the best of my knowledge, has there ever been a "Gorcal ...

Really hope that this works out for Josh, he said he wanted to lower the age of the squad, hopefully found some young lads wanting to prove a point. As other players we've had weren't given a chance in the past. Good moves if they all work out  Fingers crossed they work out for us. JG has ...

The only question I would ask is, where is TT? He obviously wasn’t at the game Saturday, what happens if Robson gets himself injured during the warm up, it happens with outfield players, I know we have our number 2 keeper Kelly warming up with Robson, but shouldn’t TT be there , he is our number on...

Beaten by 10 men pub team & a poor referee who was conned by them so many times. Will Hatfield has some support from Jonny Ngandu but rest of the loanees might as well go back as they couldn't cope with the physicality of the NLN.
Deffo missed Griffiths at right back, just not Hannah's natural slot.

Please get their name right - King's Lynn.
They appear to be in a similar position to us - seen as promotion contenders in recent past, but now struggling against the real threat of relegation. It is a "6 pointer" that we MUST WIN.

On reflection, if you break us down player by player, there aren’t many who you would single out as not being good enough for NLN football. TT - solid keeper Griffiths- good RB Lees - solid CB Lawlor - mostly solid CB Sukar - mostly solid CB or LB Mustoe - mostly solid LB? Platt - very good DM Hatf...

Re: Tamworth V Darlington
Was hoping to have evidence of new manager lift, but sadly disappointed. Fair enough, away to the top of table team was always going to be difficult, but the DFR commentary seemed to describe a team without direction & failed to challenge for all crosses or stopping their runs at our defence. No thr...
