Re: Solihull Moors Away - FA Trophy 1st Rnd

Who remembers when we played predecessor Solihull Borough in the FA Cup? 22 years ago

Was played at Moor Green's ground though.

Re: FA CUP FIRST ROUND

According to my records this is the first time we have won 3 consecutive FA Cup ties away from from home in the same season. 1936/37 won away to Halifax, Burton and Dartford. Next round went out 3-2 to West Brom…..away. Oddly enough we were drawn away 3 times in a row in 1890/91 without us winning ...

I don't think the funds raised so far, will quite stretch to a ground of this size?
Brilliant. Completely inappropriate use of a comma and a question mark in the same sentence. What is it with you and commas? Irritates the s*** out of me.

Re: International duty

Perhaps we could ask for the games to be postponed, due to International call ups? Need to find at least 1 more international as you need a minimum of 3 players on international duty to get games called off I seem to remember a Quakers match deferred because Jason De Vos was playing for Canada. I t...

Re: Southport Highlights

Defender's reaction is to gesture that he got the ball, if it was a blatant dive he surely would have concentrated on that in his protestations so I'm assuming there was contact. Does look like Rivers was trying to get contact rather than trying to beat him, players do make it hard for referees.

Re: Owners Club

I think the success of the 50/50 draw has been that it is self perpetuating - more people bought tickets and the prize went up. Others saw the inflated prize and thought I'll have some of that and bought more tickets because of it and it's been snowballing. £16k I think is a fantastic success. Small...

Can only assume he was happy with the way things were going to not change a thing. Obviously saw something I didn't. We probably dominated possession and territory in the second half but any sniff we had was of Chesters doing. Summer can't come quickly enough, pretty confident now we'll be changing ...

The car park is usually pretty full with paying fans. Not sure it would be a good idea to displace these with people parking for free.

Having watched the highlights, the ball from Burn to Ainge wasn't ideal but it was an easy clearance for Ainge. Think it's a bit harsh to pin it on Burn.

Yeah you do get the impression that these people will still come if they want to and it wouldn't be too hard to dodge any measures and get in. If when in, they do draw attention to themselves by being bell-ends then there will be a clear reason to boot them out, no arguing over what they did or didn...
