Re: FA Trophy ~ Round 3

Does anybody know when the draw will be made for Round 3. Is it still regionalised? 3.15pm Live on Talksport2 Still regionalised North/South but I think we have see some Midlands involvement in our side of the draw. National League teams also enter at this stage Seems odd to exempt clubs from a nat...

Re: JOE LEESLEY

Don't Kidderminster have someone pumping money in? They do, but right now their gate income will be much better than ours too. If we got 700 more through the gate on average, multiply that by 23 matches, its 16,100 extra fans. At an average admission of a tenner that's £161,000 a season. Take away ...

Has the admission prices been reduced for tomorrow's tie, s I think £15 entry is a bit steep and the club usually reduces the admission prices for early rounds of the FA Cup & Trophy? Yes they have. Yes whenever we lose the ref is awful but fair play to him he was DIABOLICAL should of had at least 2 pens but we move on Mark Beck did not get a single decision all game, pushed, hacked down, you name it Another shocking referee who gave Fylde every decision when they went down like flies with hard...

Remember him scoring the winner at Hartlepool in the 90th minute many years ago That was my first Darlo game! Mid February 1985. We got followed on the way back to the car and my mate got floored by a pooly hooligan. My mates dad picked up a brick and they all scarpered. First home game was against...

Re: So Faverdale or Skerningham

No it wouldn't generate substantial profit. The town is saturated already with 4G pitches and 5 a side leagues etc. Demand is also constantly increasing. I am not convinced that a 3G pitch will generate the profit which DJ thinks it will, but it’ll still make a tidy sum for the football club whilst...

If the game had been the other way round and we had equalized in the 89th min how different peoples opinions would be but that`s football. Indeed. The Blyth game was only a couple of weeks ago. That was two points gained that we really didn’t deserve. I thought they would give Wrexham a tough game ...

There was no luck about that strike. Pure quality. We probably didn’t deserve to win the game but we certainly weren’t lucky.

Re: Retained list

Pretty funny reading some of the takes here. “Beck is not a finisher” “Beck has had his day” “I’d prefer Cassidy/O’Neill” Basically, some of our fans are absolutely clueless. Well I was in the O'Neill camp...I guess I'm clueless then? I don't think so because I still believe that O'Neill is potenti...

The pub opposite the Tanners in Skinnergate will have it and probably the cricket club too. That’s where I watched the Mersey derby anyway.

Cheers, good to know. Sure there used to be more northern league teams in q2, could be 0 this season The better NL teams have been promoted eg Shildon, Hebburn, Morpeth Dunston, South Shields, Marske The standard of the NL has inevitably fallen as it becomes more of a genuine Step 5 league Stockton...

Re: FA Cup draw

Non League Maps on Twitter has the draw being split into 5 zones as it was last year. They have Buxton in the north zone which wasn’t on yours gramps. In the previous couple of seasons 5 becomes 3 as two zones merge for Q3. Q4 is reduced further to 2 zones roughly representing north and south. Sent ...

Tyrone O’Neill has signed for Stockton , brilliant signing for them, hopefully Tyrone gets his mojo back Bit surprised by that as one of the Whitby coaches told the old guy I was stood with that he was signing for them. Wondering if a 352 would work for us ? Would definitely need another CB for it though I don’t see our full backs being good enough to play the wing back role for 90 mins. You have to have a helluva engine and the ability to read the game from a positional sense. I just don’t see it working. Sent fr...

We are 4 points better off than at this time last season - give it time! Look at the league table so far , Boston , Kiddy , Brackley all below us. Our squad is much better than last season , granted it is a little forward heavy but I’d put money on it that AA is working on that Let’s see where we a...

Yep - Whitby got in several times down our right and scored after springing the offside trap.
