Re: League restarts 6 February
Although DJ has said that financially we are secure till the end of the season, that would take up all of any reserves we have, and then have to get through the close season assuming that fans will be back for next season. This would put real pressures on the club. If the season does finish it may a...

Re: Home Kit Vote
Which ever one is chosen I will be buying as it is different. Personally just glad that there is a change of options. I for one am happy with the volunteers doing all the hard work in sorting this for the benefit of the club, as mentioned previously I am too lazy myself to get involved so certainly ...

Re: Farsley coverage
AA continues with what is a 2 man midfield and in reality a 4 man forward line, and to be honest we have struggled in games with 2 there. Realise he is attack minded but currently it does not seem to work. I bet campbell is getting a bit peeved as he seems to be the first one subbed each time. At th...

Re: New kit manufacturer
Personally I am happy that the board are dealing with this, and that they believe it is the best deal for the club is good enough for me. Merchandise like the shirts are to make money for the club as well as letting fans show there support. This season is the first time I have not bought a home shir...

Re: Brackley v Darlo
I enjoyed the game last night, thought we played some good football, but lacking in front of goal, nobody seeming to want t have a shot and take a chance. Got done by 2 pieces of very poor defending, but other than that thought we showed lots of energy and commitment, (even the Brackley commentator ...

Re: Spennymoor away
Really disappointed, was looking forward to today's games, and given the money they have spent on the pitch, and proper pitch covers I thought it was a definite to be on given the number of supporters quoted by Polarbear (I don't know as don't check to be honest so take his word for it), and that sn...

Re: Spennymoor Boxing Day
I have to say I enjoyed the game, it was a full blooded game in difficult conditions. Armstrong got his selection right I thought, (although O'Neil coming on a touch sooner?) against a very decent team who can play football (they bossed York at Bootham Cresent). We kept a good forward line quiet, an...

AA said after the game that he originally was putting O'Neil and Charmers up front but had to change it. Who knows that may have worked?

Re: Darlo v AFC Telford
Having watched the York vs Spennymoor game, if we play like that today against Spennymoor we will get badly punished. Watson had a game I think he will want to forget, after being fairly consistently lately. O'Neil has played in that position last couple of times and it has not worked for him. The s...

Re: Darlo v AFC Telford
No blueish tinge on my laptop. Being over run in midfield and they have found it easy to find there man, not winning first or second balls. Really only 2 men in midfield and it's not working at the moment (seen that few times this season). Watson struggling to pick up his man on that side. Confidenc...

Re: Away to Bristol rovers
Thought Atkinson was having a good game till the error. We look nervous at the back after the goal. May as well just let the lads play to enjoy the rest of the game as 5 goals is beyond us normally.
Just get some pride back in the second half as they are not a brilliant team.

I have looked ahead on channel 601, programme starts at 1.20 for Darlo game. Not sure if it is delayed or how long. Game on there tomorrow so may watch that and see how much later it is after start? Re: Team v BPA
Suppose it is a good job that fans are not allowed in at the moment given home results. Not sure why this is happening given away form. Was surprised with subs as thought they both still looked full of running, yet Reid looked really tired in second half but stayed on. Thought defence played ok over...

Re: Darlington V Telford

Re: Darlington V Telford
Good first half playing some great football, but again weak in front of goal. Second half very poor. Reid looked tired second half and should have been replaced by Holness?. Rivers struggled all game to be effective I thought. Campbell was busy and still had legs so I was surprised he was replaced b...

Re: Darlo v Boston Match Thread
Yes Saltmer is a little suspect on crosses and the odd kick could def be better, but he is young and learning and has made some excellent saves, and we now have experience defenders he will learn from. If we look back Peter Jameson lost confidence because of a few mistakes and fans got on his back, ...

Must admit I didn't think it was a great draw, mainly down to travelling for the team, was hoping for home draw against lower league team, but it is what it is, and team is playing well and improving each game.

Re: Kidderminster Saturday October 10th
I must admit I like Charman, seems to have a footballing brain, and eye for goal and physically strong. Also thought Levi did well when he came on so 2 big cf and Campbell who can get in behind and caustic problems. Agree re defence thought they did ok although Wheatley played deep at times in suppo...

Re: Kidderminster Saturday October 10th
Very poor and deserved defeat after a bright opening 25 mins. Again same as last year where we create chances but rarely even get shots on target where as Kidderminster took there goals well, also had several shots "on target" well saved by Saltmer. New guys looked ok, Charman was isolated after 30 ...

Re: Darlo TV
I thought the whole presentation was top notch, I did not mind the close ups, (quite liked them to be honest), i liked the quick replays and to be honest only saw once when we missed some of the live play due to it, commentary was good too. Compared to the bbc televised showing of the York game ours...
