Re: New kit manufacturer
The Europa hooped version at the moment is not that shabby (I've tried inserting the link below). At the end of the day it's about what kit deals are financially right for the club and if this is better than the current deal with Puma then so be it. https://www.kitlocker.com/products/joma-...

Re: Spennymoor Boxing Day
A point gained rather than 2 dropped and another clean sheet. Difficult to gauge with the conditions who was the better team so probably a fair but frustrating result.

Re: Away to Bristol rovers
I know it didn't effect the Swindon match as he was cup tied and always was going to be in this season's FA cup run, but today may of been a match where we needed an outlet like Sousa. I thought we were lacking that bit of quick forward attacking play to turn them around and may be we have become to...

Re: Away to Bristol rovers
More worried about the game against Gateshead and how much this game will hit our confidence.AA should know his best team and formation so now is the time to play it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk No cup distraction now so might as well, although fixture congestion and rotation could disrupt tha...

Re: Away to Bristol rovers
Pretty tame exit this. All I can say is we have to dust ourselves down and concentrate on the league.... and hope Bristol Rovers don't pull Man City or Liverpool tomorrow.

Re: Away to Bristol rovers
Look to Chorley as an example to follow - 20th in our league knocking out 2nd in League 1 away.
We CAN do it tomorrow...let's do this!

Re: Alfreton...
Very good result again against another tough side. Great to see Sousa on the score sheet again and another assist and Campbell hitting the goal trail as well. Defence looks quite settled at the moment without Hunt and Storey which will give AA another headache, with a clean sheet for good measure. S...

Re: Tyrone O’Neill
In the interview with Ray, AA does mention that he has unfortunately let a player go to bring in O'Neill. I think it's probably Amanchi as he was on non-contract terms and is straight out of the squad today. Shame for the lad but I guess that's what happens when a player with O'Neill's potential and...

Re: Guiseley v Darlington
Thought we.put in a pretty solid performance. Didn't look overly troubled throughout and scoring 4 away is always good to see. Knit picking would be not making the most of some of the other guilt edged chances and a couple more injuries. I think Minter did ok, didn't have much to do but blotted his ...

Re: Darlington V Telford
Think I'd take a scruffy 1-0 win today. Would like to see the loan keeper Minter given a go, but that is not to say Saltmer has done anything wrong. We could do with more points on the board just so we don't lose touch with the playoff pack and need to start a bit of momentum in the league. Right n...

Re: Away to Bristol rovers
There were better draws potentially especially when we were one of the last out. However, as some have alluded to, Bristol Rovers are currently not much better than Swindon and we can go there with the same attitude and under-dog tag that may just work in our favour again and we do have cup previous...

Re: Swindon away
Are we happy the BBC have called us "National League North minnows Darlington"In their Cup summary! Who do they think we are Salford? I was more unhappy that they didn’t show our goals and instead decided to show Concord Rangers NEARLY causing an upset. 🙄 Probably because as the BBC were not stream...

Re: Donowa gone
At this point it's probably in the club's and Justin's interests to cash in and accept the move. It's great we are developing players and moving them on but I feel at some stage we'll need to keep talent to make the next step in terms of promotion.

Not that I'd want us to get through in these circumstances but their league match has been postponed Vs Accrington due to Covid cases.... wouldn't want a bye surely?!?

Re: Swindon away
Lads. Don't get too downhearted at the prospects of playing Swindon at the County Ground. I might live just 45 minutes away from Darlo, but have been a STFC supporter for 60 years or more and am well used to defeats by non league sides in the FA cup, in fact one almost expects it. Macclesfield and ...

Re: Swindon away
Under 'normal' circumstances it would probably be considered as a bum draw but these are not normal times. Nice ground, pitch and against a team not in the best of form - for them a banana skin, for us a free shot just like Walsall. Although we may not have the points on the board in the league yet,...

Re: Erico Sousa
I've taken a look at the couple of YouTube videos of him and, although the main footage is when he was playing in Slovenia and some trialist matches, you can see why he has had potential to do well. I'm guessing he has just not been at clubs able to harness and get the best out of him or maybe a lac...

Re: Cambridge City at home
As a genuine question, are people as fussed about getting one of the big boys at home, given no fans will be able to attend? Or would we rather get, like DarloPartisan says, one of the lower-ranked sides at home to give us a better chance of progression and the prize money? Personally I’m leaning t...

Portsmouth, Hull City, Ipswich, Sunderland or Hartlepool at home - may get a TV tie from those. Failing those either Marine or Skelmersdale.

Re: Cambridge City at home
After all the seasons without good cup runs we're now making a habit of reaching the 1st round. Just a shame we won't be able to attend what could be a plum tie, so hopefully we'll draw a club we can make some TV money from.
