Re: Gowling MUST go!

Maybe this should be on the “truth” thread, but truth is that whenever I hear our manager in an interview I cannot stand the guy. His giggling and “ we’ve had a chat in there” comments are driving me mad. Surely that was an opportunity to accept a share of responsibility, thank the fans who travell...

Hit send too soon and am no good at maths. It is 36 plus current 14 isn't it so 50 points.
We have 28 games remaining don't we? So 14 wins equals 42 points, plus 14 equals 56 points.
You are correct so we are easily safe from relegation as Josh says. I will now go and resit my maths O Level!

Most people this season believe that 50pts will be enough to finish outside the bottom four and thereby avoid relegation.
Do most people think we will win half of our remaining matches?

Re: Gowling MUST go!

My hearing is going a bit dodgy with old age but if I've heard Gowlings pre-match interview he refers to the fact that we "win one lose one at the moment" but if we carry on like that for the rest of season we will be safe. That would potentially give us 24 more points than we have at the moment plu...

Re: Gowling MUST go!

Teams are not battered 8-0 from time-to-time, not even down to ten men. I'm not buying into this whole 'everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong' mantra. Southampton managed to lose league games 9-0 twice in consecutive seasons and weren't relegated in either season. It happens. 2 season...

Apparently we put him through a full in depth medical, not normally something that happens at our level. He’s fully recovered from his hernia op and is in fantastic shape!
But not played since April........

Re: Darlo v Chester

I don’t doubt that Jacob Hazel has the ability to be an effective striker at NLN level. However, I am not so sure he still has the desire to do it for Darlington. The lack of energy and commitment he displayed when coming on as a sub on Saturday just looked like he didn’t want to be here. As others...

Re: Darlo v Chester

I said it many times Jacob Hazel is a goal scorer he needs to have a target man beside him to allow him to run onto the ball , his work rate of the ball is good some fans can't see the wood from the trees.I would back Jacob to come good with the right setup  Have you been watching the game...

Hope Paddy doesn't get any more knockbacks & the medics are happy to let him play again. All the best🤞 As I recall this injury (a blow to the head and a bleed) has happened twice to him. I would be amazed if "the medics are happy to let him play again." I would think the obvious risks have been poi...

Massive mistake to let go the only player at our club who is capable of scoring 20 goals a season. It beggars belief if we sell him. Certainly a player who divides opinion. 3-2 win, 33/1 with Betfred :D
Did you place a bet? Fair play to the team and management, off the bottom and now potentially 6 points from safety if you allow for current goal difference we probably need that extra point.
On to Tuesday now.

He only played 360 minutes this season. Why are you wanting to base your opinion on a really small data-sample size, completely disregarding both the eye-test & the data over a much more prolonged period? What were his stats from January onwards, out of interest? That should be a reasonable sample ...

DJ said he thought about letting Alun go in the summer, clearly that would have been the right decision. If he had doubts over Alun it was clear it was time up for Alun, but he let him spend the BTB money. From then it’s been a complete disaster. I think Gowling will be on a monthly rolling contrac...
