Re: Boston v Darlington 20/02/24
Did Siddick go off injured, if so that's him and Lawlor probably out for Saturday which only leaves Lees.Wonder if Sukar is recalled, if not we are up the creek.Things are very quiet on potential signings, surely there must be players somewhere who can strengthen us and willing to come so what the h...

2 things here, why on earth extend Sukar’s loan for a further month with Lawlor picking up injuries repeatedly, and yet again that total waste of space missing yet again.Old Git wrote:Taylor, Lawlor and Asante all ruled out with injuries tonight.

Re: South Shields v Darlo
Nah, it was a brutal, disgraceful lunge, deserving of a 10-match ban. I say that in the spirit of pointing out that the Shields fans were Premier League standard whiners, who moaned at everything, stormed out of the ground en masse as soon as we had the audacity to score, have since called us the w...

Getting ridiculous at this point. Not a mention of him being out in the preview but nowhere to be seen. Re: Asante
Agreed LMQuaker - we should really know what the situation is. Is he injured? Refusing to play? For Asante to be missing today & for the club to just blatantly ignore this in the preview & PMI is appalling. Asante is one of our best paid players since becoming fan-owned. What is going on? The silen...

Re: South Shields v Darlo
Fantastic result, not always easy playing against 10 men (then 9) but seems like a very professional performance.A good result against Boston would work wonders, and with 42 points to play for we have a chance.

Re: South Shields v Darlo
So in the same week that Spenny sign Brad James, Matty Dolan, Lufudu and another attacking midfielder we sign an emergency 17 yr old keeper on loan for a month. ( nothing against the lad at all, sure he is an excellent prospect) Says it all really doesn’t it. Yes, I know they have money and we don’...

Re: Any new faces
As I have said before, if we cant sign good players when we are top then what chance when we are second bottom? Not many players are going to commit themselves to us on a permanent deal when we could well be in the NPL next season. It wouldn't surprise me if Main has a release clause if we go down....

Re: Any new faces
In a worrying development that appears to characterise me as one of those fans who obsesses over past connections over more viable solutions, I see Joe Leesley is now a free agent.... Just noticed that, he would be the type of player SW probably referred to in his last interview that we are short o...

Re: Darlington v Alfreton 10/02/24
The defence as a unit, including TT, I feel has improved under SW. We just need to find the key at the other end of the pitch. Still no sign of any new faces which is worrying, seems like quite a few have turned us down because of our league position plus we have the bigger problem of Spenny and po...

Billy Heath didn't think we were woeful. He said: "They are a different team to what they were a month ago. They played some good stuff and put us under a lot of pressure. They didn't look like a side where they are in the league. But we were back to our difficult best. We are a difficult side to p...

Re: Darlington v Alfreton 10/02/24
Bottom line is that the players are not strong enough, fit enough and just blatantly not good enough to keep us in this league. When did we last beat a strong, well organised, physical team………answer is, so long ago I cannot remember. Yes the ref was awful, yes they rolled around injured but even af...

Who has the best worst I wonder putting our 3 managers side by side ? Beaten again by a rubbish team who are near the playoffs, deserved a point but yet again cannot score.Have to admit we have no chance now and doesn't help when we cannot bring players in.

Read some sh-te on here. People seem to ignore what has already been said over the period as it suits their narrative I suppose. I don't remember a single fan complaining when AA got the 2 year extention as everyone was worried he would get poached given how we had been doing, not one of us forecast the way the season ende...

97 and 09 work as a pairing - like a Tag team. Why is it on this Forum that perfectly valid criticism is raised, yet the stock response is to reply with something personal? Shot ourselves in the foot yet again, another missed opportunity to close the gap on teams just above us, and as usual we give points away to teams around us.Terrible 2nd goal against us, looked like Lawlor badly at fault letting their lad half volley it in from 6 yards.Salkeld,Liddle and Ngundu rig...
