Re: Team v BPA
Don’t understand the formation tonight. Why go 4-2-3-1? Just put Atkinson in midfield, bring Storey in at CH and not play maguire or O’neill. The two with Reid doesn’t work, he doesn’t have the legs. Hoping for Holness, Hatfield and Wheatley on Sunday. Thought exactly the same when I saw the team s...

Re: Alfreton...
I saw the highlights and the big lad day and the other striker (Reeves I think it was) looked handy. Have to be intelligent but I'm confident we can get all three. The biggest shame is that we can't play the midfield 3 of Wheatley, Hatfield and Holness. I'd go: Minter Mcmahon Watson Laing Storey Wh...

Re: Darlington V Telford
This is incrrdibly frustrating. I also don't get why holness isn't preferred to reid. Bang on. Hatfield, Wheatley and Holness is our best midfield. Maybe Wheatley is injured or unavailable today, I don't know. Reid would not be in my starting line-up. Not today, not next week, not next month. Total...

Laing starts, Hatfield back and no Charman. Saltmer; Hedley, Laing, Storey, Liddle; Reid, Atkinson , Hatfield; Rivers, Campbell, Sousa. Subs: Minter, Holness, McMahon, Hudson, Maguire. We are really going to have to play through the lines with that forward line. Would’ve had Amantchi on the...

Re: Darlo v Boston Match Thread
Nicky Hunt’s welfare is the paramount concern here. For the record I think Boston should be awarded the game 2-0 and the 3 points. Can't argue with that, might have felt different if there was one in it but 2 goals in 4 minutes with 10 men was unlikely. Not sure the league will take into account ho...

Lots of quality players not even making the 16 tonight showing strength in depth at the moment.

Re: Darlo TV
Anyone know what last night's audience figure was? Just over 700 according to the comms last night.Dont know how many were pubs though. Not just pubs but people at home / families etc aren't going to buy it 2 / 3 times for multiple people watching. I'd think it'd be a safe assumption at least 2,000...

BBC news reporting that the details of a rescue package are unlikely to be sorted this week which must leave in doubt our ability to start playing as DJ stated we can’t start without the financial certainty. Interesting days ahead..

Id be really surprised if there’s not another email comes out to ask if you are happy with the trade off of Quaker TV for your season ticket. After all in consumer law, you can’t order a product and have it replaced by a quite different product without consenting to that change.

Re: Omar Holness
I don't think Alun ever fancied him - I think I lot of these players were pushed in by previous FD Woolnough. I do think Omar was a decent player - seemed a really nice guy off the pitch as well - seemed to really get into the football club and the fans. I think you’ve got it spot on. Bascome’s alr...

Re: Omar Holness
Sorry to hear this news, Omar was a more than decent player & he chipped in with a few crucial goals. But I guess he may have been on a decent wage which we probably couldn't match next season or just as importantly we probably couldn't afford. It’s my understanding he was on the lower end of the w...
