Re: Sports Village (latest)

What is the point in spunking millions on Blackwell meadows for a two sided ground we won’t own, or spunking even more millions on a new ground which would still be objected to by half the fan base for “not being Feethams” when there is a perfectly adequate stadium we can rent on the edge of town? Re: £1000 A WEEK!!!

£1000 may be realistic if the majority of the stadium has been mothballed and a deal on the rates has been done with the council. Also they wont have a load of useless staff doing nothing for their money like we did during the last few years of the arena. As the person above says it will be mainly m...

Re: Your worst bet ever?

I had a ladbrokes millionaire maker accumulator on last season, i got all right in the first 15 Games except Liverpool v stoke. I put a draw and stoke won 1-0. Suarez then went on to miss a sitter at the death. That miss cost me 240 grand off a 2 quid bet I also missed 70 grand on a 2 quid bet about...

Re: Darlington RA v Darlington Match Thread

I thought O'Mahoney looked our best attacking option last night and did well considering he had a young kid behind him most of the game.

From last night i would say him, the Purewalls and gregan came out with any credit, the rest looked ver poor (especially the lad that was forced to be subbed)

As the games are going to be out of the town i think it is extremely important to advertse when, where and who we are playing so we are constantly in the faces of the public. Have 1883 looked into using billboards around the town to advertise. I looked into it recently and it costs £400(+VAT) per bi...

It was obvious 500k wasn't going to be hit Now we need to look at things realistically, I think there has been too much false hope over the last 6 months (people thi...
