Many thanks. I have never been in a film before. Well not since "Shoot" in the 60's standing on the wall at the back of the stand.

Padiham Highlights

Went to the game. 3 of us first time for two years and really enjoyed the day, but was hoping to be able to see the highlights. Went to the clubs website and it said that highlights were available, click here. However when I tried that it showed the previous match. Have I just looked too early or is...

Car Parking

Having taken advice that the club gets £3 if I park in the club car park, I have to get somebody to Darlington station after the match. Are there any holdups leaving the car park?

Re: Groundshare Agreed

There still seems to be a lot of work to actually get there, let alone have a date in mind that we can tell the FA. Was any time given at the meeting to indicate when we will actually play there?

Re: Groundshare Agreed

Fantastic news. Is there a report/release anywhere? How close was the vote? What concerns were there? I am sure there are some DRFC supporters still against it; what do we need to do to bring them onside?

Re: Ramsbottom Staff and Fans Cause Violence at Lancaster Ga

Went to see us play at Exeter about 20 years ago. Amazed to see half of the main stand populated by Plymouth fans decked in their green (Oh dear that reminds me of a sea of green at Wembley), just there to slag off Exeter and cheer anything we did. No violence though that I saw.

Agree with piggy. It just wouldnt run for us. But thanks anyway. Just because there arent many replies it does not mean that your efforts are not appreciated by fans far and wide.

The original headline worries me. A top 5 position is likely but by no means certain. I sense too many chickens being counted.

Re: v Bolton Wanderers 14/11/60

I remember the expectation, having just beaten West Ham(amazing atmosphere when we scored after about 15 seconds). Also Joe Rayments ridiculously long shorts shimmying. I think we were winning 1-0 but the killer goal was a cross along the ground that our keeper fumbled it it agonisingly rolled over ...

Re: Take-away businesswoman becomes latest Darlington FC inv

Really good to see a local business lady (even as part of a global franchise) taking a real opportunity to be part of this, removes any excuses from other franchises for not investing. Have never visited Subway, but to many visits to the other well known establishments. Look a healthier option, so ...

Re: Darlo v Curzon Sat 8th Feb

Latest odds are
Curzon 1/2
Warrington 5/2
Darlo 5/1
I know we always look at our own chances through rose coloured spectacles, but 5/1 seems massive with the fixtures we have left and the way we are playing.

Thanks for that. I didnt realise there was a car park. I am sure the charge is minute compared with over £100 petrol cash. Will I get in OK?

Parking

Coming up for my first visit to HP (and hopefully my last as the next one might be to Blackwell). I am sure this has been covered before, but what is the advice on parking? We dont mind walking a fair way. I see Sainsburys is next door but presumably they have a time limit.

How often do the fans do sterling work to get a pitch playable and then we fail to win? Cant remember when it was the other way. But well done all and heres hoping it bears fruit.

Re: Blackwell Meadows

With big projects like this it isn't always that useful to have regular updates as things like this always take a lot longer than you think. In the space of 4-6 weeks it's probably a case that there isn't a huge amount worth releasing a statement about. Yes, but we need to know that its still going...

Ramsbottom and Cammel both 80/1 for the league (1/5 odds first 3). I know which is more likely to be top 5.

Re: It must be finished now

I've seen Droylsden this season and they are woeful. It's a few weeks since I saw them but at that point they hadn't won a game all season, I don't think this has changed since and they are regularly shipping 5+ goals. They're team is pretty young and as I understand it the chairman/manager has sto...

All that matters is that we survive and operate within a budget, whichever Division we are in. I never thought I would say that and when those *******s at the FA and Singh conspired to demote us all that way, it seemed like the end of the world. But it isnt. On a weekly basis we still suffer the sam...
