Re: Liam Connell - Boost the Budget

When he joined Whickham on loan in September the boss there (who incidentally resigned today) said at the time: "Hopefully, Liam may agree to a permanent deal." By the way, Connell is now 34.... just recently celebrated his birthday. Seems to have fallen apart at Whickham, got hammered at home the ...

Re: Liam Connell - Boost the Budget

South Shields could easily do us a favour and let him come and get regular game time seeing as they have another 2 keepers.Didnt they take 4 of our players not that long ago?Short memories, one good turn deserves another surely.

Re: Darlington V Kidderminster

Much more interest in this game than would have been the case a few weeks ago, win tomorrow and Saturday at home to Hereford and we should find ourselves in a playoff position.Would not be disappointed with 4 points but 6 would be brilliant.

Re: FA Cup draw - Darlo Away to Walsall

Aside from the difficulties for the travelling fans (which doesn't come into it for TV bosses), you can see why each of the live games have been chosen. £75,000 for each club is also not a bad return with prize money for the winners and attendance cash on top. So if you're on the box and get throug...

Re: FA Cup draw - Darlo Away to Walsall

A quick scan of the comments on their FB page and it’s clear to see that many of their fans can see us winning. It’d doom and gloom there at the moment. Darrell Clarke is questioning the players’ desire etc. It’s got ‘shock’ written all over it. Only downer is that the negativity will produce a poo...

Jason Ainsley did not look a happy bunny in his PMI, having a right go about the ref and him and Roberts having "words" with each other on the highlights.Just makes you wonder how much they were relying on a good cup run....looking like the feelgood factor is swinging away from The Pride and more to...

Alun Armstrong in pre-season: “All the lads have been great, apart from one or two from last season.” See the Northern Echo. Ho ho ho, that's Singh's first knee-jerk. It will go downhill from here. I pray that Gray gets the job because they clearly want to work together, and the bonus is that Gray will take them backwards. Not only that but the fans will go into total meltdown - they absolutely hate him and that’s before...

They are going well but in terms of an away tie I would rather this one than any in the league above and lots in our league like a side such as Brackley, York or King's Lynn. It's a better tie than Hereford and far closer, allowing more fans to go and back us. I also don't think the plastic pitch w...

That result means a pretty big following of Darlo fans which will create a cracking atmosphere and could outnumber the home fans easily.
Gives us a great chance to make the first round.
