This is how fan ownership works. Something you may have to discover for yourselves if Brad ever decides there's nowt left in the bank.

Re: Kings Lynn town or Warrington town

I thought Warrington were in our league, didnt they beat Shields in final, or has it all changed There's then a "super playoff" between the playoff winners of the four leagues at that level. The two winners from those will move up. I think this is a one off for this season ahead of restructuring th...

There hasn’t been a podcast for a while, will there be an end of season roundup? Anybody........... It was mentioned on Darlo fans radio there would be one possibly this week summarising the season. Re: Time for Gray to finish the job.....

Nope. Gave us a few amazing years, no doubt - but after the post-promotion boost wore off (seatgate aside), we weren't going anywhere - and when he went to York, on full time budget and a full time squad, he did no better. Not only that, but we're still recovering the costs of his blank-cheque time ...

Favourite game + season grading

Asked this on Twitter, might as well ask here too - what was your favourite game of this season, and how (from A to F) would you grade the season? I'll read some of the responses out on my football show on Darlo Radio tomorrow afternoon. Can someone point me in the direction of a Spennymoor forum (i...

Re: Best opponents faced this season

Altrincham were the only ones I've ever covered on DFR where I had their entire 1-11 memorised by full time, and didn't have to refer back to the team sheet. So I'm going to have to say them, I think Hopefully by the time we play them again they will have signed Lucas Papaconstantinou, just to keep...

Re: Next season

Not sure where he'll end up but I don't reckon he'll be at Alfreton next season if Billy Heath's still there. It's always looked an uneasy relationship and on Saturday he subbed Styche at half-time (wasn't injured) on a day Alfreton lost 7-0 at home. I don't think Styche was too impressed and the f...

Not sure the forum gets enough traffic these days to justify a paid option. I'm waiting on some API keys to install a couple of extensions that will give us the edge (for a few minutes, probably)

Forum upgrade

As you're probably noticing, I've upgraded the forum to 3.2 to try and help with the spam problem. This has unfortunately led to the loss of the "Uncovered" theming around the edges. I'll be working to restore that as soon as I can. If you have any issues with the forum, post in here, or drop me a p...

Re: New forum - testers wanted

Thanks. Since my slightly anger-fuelled post (although compared to some on here recently, regarding more on-field affairs....) earlier, I've softened a bit to the idea of upgrading phpBB to the newest available version. I'll just have to rebuild the theme again. We'll see how it goes.

New forum - testers wanted

Hi, Officially bored of removing spammers from here, and I'm not sure updating phpBB is the answer - our install is a little broken under the hood so I'd risk knocking the forum offline entirely. So, with that in mind, I'm going to bring forward the install of a replacement forum. I might try and ge...
