Re: £225000 reached

Is the seated stand offset to avoid the NW pipe? Yes, it also looks like the movement of the tin-shed from the West to the East side is also a consequence of the NW pipe. Makes me wonder whether it's worth going for modular sections of 5 rows of 10 seats, not even sure if this is possible. Leaving ...

Re: 500 Club

Wasn't just Reynolds, owners after him insisted the council took a percentage and forced us to charge a minimum fee. I think the confusion could be the council took a cut of the car parking charges to pay for the administration of the residents permit scheme. I don't think the club paid much of any...

Re: 500 Club

The council never took a cut of any car park charges. They did insist on the club charging for car parking and contributing for the surrounding residents parking zone

If we sell out of the 500 club we'll raise over £400k - personally think the £300k is realistically achievable

Payment by cash, cheque or PayPal only.

Cash needed asap and don't think we could find a credit company to structure deals over 5 years

Re: Quakers target return to Darlo for start of next season

Council have been heavily involved with football and rugby club with their proposals, I wouldn't expect any problems with the planning application.

As far as I'm aware the cost of the move is over £1m. DFC and DRFC are entitled to grants which make up of approx a quarter of what is required.

Re: Worried

The car park is the least of the worries, just needs someone to make decisions from the football club for it to progress further. We do need to find a substantial sum of money for the move - I just don't know where it's going to come from. I will be very surprised to see us starting the 2014/15 sea...

£75k wouldn't go anywhere, it's closer to 3 - 4 times that. The club are looking at numerous options but none are going to be cheap

Re: Average attendance when back in Darlo

I'm beginning to doubt it'll be the beginning of next season as it seems to have gone very very quiet from the Rugby Club. I seriously doubt we will be starting the season at BM. Car park size not agreed, banking on the generosity of some to pay for this, cost of everything running at over a £milli...

Re: Keith Graydon

Graydon is a better footballer than Scott and Robinson put together. Scott has been immense for us and was great to see him score at the weekend but from what I've seen this season he has struggled. Whether you put this down to his recovery from injury I don't know. We are short of another creative ...

Re: Darlington v Padiham

Second half we were poor, zero movement upfront, 4 playing in a straight line and none showing or coming short. Felt like it was going to be a Farsley Mk2 - clean sheet and 3 more points, a shame we couldn't build on the passing and movement we had on Wednesday. Thompson was a massive miss when he w...

Well I know Moffat is a player we are after. Hatch and Fisher were offered as a swop and neither are happy that they haven't had a crack in the 1st XI - West aren't keen on either

Re: Players In/Players Out

I think one of the main problems with Harrison was that he couldn't make mid-week matches, not even the big ones such as Curzon last season. Harrison was a classic flying RB .... He was consistently impressive ..... especially when he came back for his second stint. He supported our forwards with p...
