Re: New signing
I’ll give you a clue he is 37 in September. Wonder if he likely to be made captain? Yep this I suspect his body told him before anyone else needed to. Intrigued about his travel arrangements though. Everything points to him being based in the North West. Seems a fair bit of travel for training, whe...

Re: New signing
Hunt is a curious one, I wonder what persuaded him to step down into part-time football... maybe he's doing coaching qualifications or something. Either way, an experienced head at the back is no bad thing. Playing for one of the bigger sides in NL football was probably a draw for him, the fact he ...

Re: The Team 20/21 season
His minutes to goals/assists is actually decent. It’s difficult to judge with such limited game-time spread across a number of seasons. He is definitely more of an impact player but at 22, still has time to improve. I certainly wouldn’t be writing it off, like some have, for the reasons I’ve outlin...

Re: New deal for Donawa, Hatfield, Rivers, Holmes, Hedley, Reid, Storey , Campbell, Laing, Wheatley, Liddle, Watson,
We defo need a GK, CB and CF that go straight into that team. Too many times last season we were gave away goals or weren't clinical enough in front of goal. I think AA will have a similar thinking... he will want to make the next step and be in the play offs not skirting around them

Re: Potential new signings
I would like a big 6'3+ head it and kick it defender, but I dont think it makes financial sense to add a 4th CB especially when Reid can fill in in emergencies, so could see that being a one in one out situation, but then who would be let go? Either Galbraith or Laing. Neither are going to get any ...

Re: Retention for next year
I think we will see Connell , Elliott , Trotman and Wheatley leave , with reduced terms offered to Galbraith and Thompson I wouldn’t mind us trying to sign Jordan Hunter from Sunderland (currently on loan at South Shields) at right back. I’d also think about signing Hemming on loan from Boro as our...

Re: Craig Morley
My opinion on this is solely going by the games at BM that were sponsored. Correct me if I’m wrong but only 6 out of 13 games have been sponsored and the match ball only 5 times this season. To me that’s pretty piss poor from a Commercial Director. Yes the ground looks better with the additional pit...

Alan white has been the driving force of the academy, why should he be sidelined there is a job at the academy which is what he is doing for me he has to continue working with the young players in his charge .they trust him and built up an understanding within the academy, my opinion anyway. he should be in the heart of the midfield but somehow the club is a soft touch and let him get so unfit he is not usable in his correct position. Soft touch?
