Re: Next season - Article in Echo today

I would hazard a guess that this won't include one or two loan signings aswell.

I can see wholesale chances during the summer, i wouldn't be at all surprised if we only say 5 or 6 of the current senior squad staying for another season

Re: Today's Performance....

Today highlighted how we miss Diop upfront. He holds the ball up and brings others into play, Purcell looks lost without him. I thought Ian Miller had another poor game today, he doesn't look comfortable with the ball at his feet or when he comes up against a strong physical striker. Will be an inte...

Allegedly Singh and Fordy fell out over his decision to appoint Stan after Fordy had done the groundwork to appoint two former Boro men.

Re: Neil Aspin

Knows the lower leagues well and could unearth a couple of gems which Stan seems to have done. Out of all the names that have been mentioned his fills me with the most optimism. I just have a feeling Raj will want to appoint someone with Boro connections which for me would put Proctor/Fleming in pol...

The way the team played it was probably the 19 shots of irish whiskey they necked at ten to three!

Re: Did anyone watch "Footballs next star"

The winner of the competition actually was playing for Welling who released him so he could take part in the competition.

The Irish lad you were on about who was 'homesick' did look a very decent player, was told be a lad from work he was signing for Shamrock Rovers

Re: Parking Ticket

I'd ignore it aswell mate, i received a ticket a few years back parking next to the shops at Mansfield. I asked for proof and they sent a photo of my car registration so just ignored it after reading up on the net about these companies that run car parks. Our lass got one at sainsburys in town after...

Re: our keeper

To be fair to him he kept us in the game with a couple of decent saves and handling, just a shame his one mistake cost us two points. Lets hope he learns from this as i can't see us signing a better keeper than what he is.

Re: Nathan Porritt

I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did after his loan spell with us. He can't have gone back with glowing references, but who knows with Deano and Toddy! Wouldn't be surprised to see a League 1 club take a punt on him, not the player we need at present, but then again Jeff Smith plays week in wee...

His competition isn't brilliant when you look at it David James - coming to the end of his career, seems to have been injured for a whilte now Robert Green - No.1 at present but does Fabio have full confidence in him? Ben Foster - Could be No.1 if he played week in week out, when he did though was p...

Also looks like Convery is one of the players told he doesn't have a future after failing to make the bench last night Well I would suggest we need more than 18 in the squad - which is what you are suggesting by your inference. In fact we need at least 22 all fit just to put on a training match. Th...

Re: New signings

Patrick Deane doesn't really inspire me with confidence, played one game for Montrose against Berwick in October and after reading this wrote about him.... Big Paddy’s stature reminds me so much of Garry O’Connor or if I think back a bit further, Gordon Rae. If he turns out to be even three quarters...
