Re: DARLAS - The Ted Forster Episode
Hands up if you fancy paying for a Quaker TV filmed Darlogramps/Edjohns televised debate to raise money for our club? No thanks  Get the pot up to £500 for the club and I will happily prove the troll wrong to benefit the club. No need for him to be there. He can stay cowering in his hovel.

Re: DARLAS - The Ted Forster Episode
Does anyone actually know this Forster character personally? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Contrary to what was posted in this thread, I did meet him & speak to him at the old Feethams, before it all went Pete Tong with Reynolds. So if I ever meet EdJohns I'll be able to verify if he is Ted. P...

Re: Rugby League
Not been announced yet but I have been told we have signed Albert Vete. If that is true it is 1 hell of a signing to start off with, and the best forward we have signed for a few years. Time we took a year off struggling. We have the backs. We have the wingers etc all we need is the beef. A couple m...

Re: Rugby League
Has to be done quickly so they, (whoever it is), can get a squad together. Not sure about the others but York, Feath and Leigh in particular have already signed a number of players for next season. Problem with that? They are Championship, not SL contracts. Will they want the same players if they ge...

Re: We have been knocked out of the cup
He was quoting last season's TV games selected for the FA Cup 2nd round. Must be one of those days - I still don't get it :? I saw on Sky that we were on TV but missed the details so did a Google search to try to find the details. Came up with a list and Bristol R were playing Plymouth. I missed th...

Re: Swindon away
Yeah R3 is where it’s really going to hurt the smaller clubs who draw the big clubs financially compared to previous seasons, the money just won’t be there this time around. Even if it is available on PPV, which seems unlikely the further we go due to what’s happening with PL games now being broadc...

Re: Back to Basics Boston on Tuesday
Yes, we all should be celebrating today, and we look forward to Monday evening and the draw, but more importantly we need 3 points against Boston on Tuesday night followed by another 3 points against Telford on Saturday. A cup run I’d great for the finances and moral of all of us, but let’s get poi...

Re: Rugby League
Well Wigan win the League Leaders Shield, but a stubborn Huddersfield make Wigan have to dig deep. At least Wigan have earned themselves a little time off, as places 3-6 have to fight it out in the playoffs. Was busy and only caught the last 10 first half and first 10 second. Looked a tight hard ga...

Hull KR season is over due to Covid 19, very sad news, wonder who they were due to play in the remaining 2 weeks of the season? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/54794168 Warry, Cats and Salford in that order. We are getting some stick and being linked to Toronto by stirrers saying we refuse...

Re: Rugby League
In my opinion a sad day for SL with the expulsion of Toronto. It shows North America that SL is against them getting involved. As someone who was behind the club and have fought their corner since they came into our leagues I feel both short changed and betrayed by what has gone on at Toronto. I th...

Re: Rugby League
So Toronto will NOT be back in SL. Failed by a vote of 8-4 with 1 not voting. Will they be allowed back in the lower leagues? . I am hearing that we run 11 clubs next season. Champions up and no relegation for 3 seasons to bring us to 14 clubs.. That will undo a lot of the harm the bloody middle 8's...

Re: The race for the white house.
I have a number of friends dreading a Biden win as they work in the oil sector and believe they will be unemployed within a short space of time under Biden. While not a Trump fan some of the things Biden says both worry and anger me. Think you should be more concerned with what they bring to the tab...

Plenty more to remove this morning, all reported but not confident they will be removed. Pete, have the spam posts become your new RoH? Pack it in mate. Yes they are annoying, but you must be hissing the mods off as well. Reporting them is enough. We don't need the running commentary.

Re: Rugby League
Massive match tonight as Wigan take on St. Helens with the winner likely to be favourites to win the league winners shield, if there is one awarded this year? Catalans are the only club not to have hit the magic number 15 so yes it will be awarded as that was the number set as the minimum needed. I...

Re: Rugby League
They only seem to look at forward passes. if a try is scored before a tackle is made & then only when they have the TV coverage to look at the offending pass. I've not got tickets for the World Cup, as I have no idea whether I will be off work when the matches take place. But it sounds like they ar...

Re: Rugby League
The VAR works far better in RL than football. My only gripes are that they do not always when checking go back far enough in the play and they seem to totally ignore forward passes. That may seem a small point, but on 1 of the the RL sites I run it is by far the biggest complaint people have. I keep...

Re: Swindon away
There is some cup history pre-history really. We won there in the cup in1965 when Jimmy Lawton starred we swapped him for Alan Sproates after the game. Not literally but it was canny business. Not an ideal tie but as Gps points out we said much the same about Walsall. I think we can bring Swindon b...

Again so much twisting. I have never met Pete. We simply have a common interest in RL so chat on the RL thread. I could pass him in the street and we would not know it. That is simple fact. Go on, ask him. You have been offered more than once the chance to prove you are correct about who I am. You s...

Re: Rugby League
A good game in trying conditions. I chose Storm as "my side" but have to say the first half score was just no reflection of the game. Talk about making the most of your chances. The Panthers must have been totally gob smacked to be so far behind on play. Second half was a much better reflection of t...

Ted - you’ve abused me (and others) and on multiple occasions said you’d enjoy assaulting me. You’ve even alienated your own family members on here by faking your death to play a prank. Why on Earth do you think I would want to meet up with someone as deranged as you? How about to prove once and fo...

Yes I would quite enjoy smacking your silly face, And you say you’re not a violent man....(irrespective of your caveat, the fact you enjoy violence destroys your protestations of not being violent). Re: Unwanted posts on here
Not quite true Ted. You said: “I’m not a violent person but that man makes my blood boil.” I can show you the thread if you like. The obvious implication to anyone with a double digit number of brain cells being you were happy to be violent towards me. I think a number of members would understand e...
