Re: Darlington V Farsley
York have called there game off apparently. Wonder if they were worried about altringham, or want to see how kings lynn get on before playing or actually the virus? Or maybe they just thought what’s the point exposing players, staff and fans if we don’t have to In that case we better close the leag...

Re: Coronavirus and DFC
It'll be the last chance to see us for some time, although living near Boston I'm hoping I may have the chance on Tuesday. Divas is right in that what confronts us will be unprecedented and it will have big implications for next season too. I'm wondering if we'll need to do some fundraising going f...

Re: Coronavirus and DFC
Yes I am serious. League won’t start again until August/September. All sorts of issues to iron out with playing contracts etc. Given our PT status and players generally on shorter contracts they may even be a different approach to teams in the league. No one knows yet so I fail to see how today matt...

Re: Coronavirus and DFC
It does seem strange to hold this game today. It seems that there will be a long lay off with two options at the end of it. Either to declare a kind of ghost season or to ram a load of matches in mid summer. Either way todays game seems a bit pointless. Agreed. The only point of today’s game would ...

Re: Last home game for a while?
I think realistically we’re looking at September before we can get back to any sort of normality. It’s going to be a long, tough 6 months, the like of which many will never have experienced before.

Re: AGM
Yes, BUT you do have to consider that BTB and DJ investment would have formed part of the playing budget calcs.
But yeah on the bare face of it, without £150K investment from the owners every season we’d probably not be able to compete at this level.

Re: Coronavirus and DFC
It’s very worrying for a number of reasons but like you say from a financial aspect it could be problematic. Many of our fans are of an advancing age and clearly at bigger risk of serious illness. Even if matches go ahead I expect crowds will be down partly due to this. We’ve also got a pretty much ...

Re: AGM
Personally I wouldn’t class it as investment but suppose it’s a matter of opinion. It’s ultimately a cheaper way to attend games by making an upfront commitment. Fans at every club whether fan owned or not buy season tickets.

We have not seen anything as yet, however fans are being asked to invest for next season without knowing th...

Re: O'Neill recalled
I’m more interested to know what his contract situation is - whether he’ll become a free agent in the summer or not. Not that bothered about another loan spell this season but if we could somehow get him in for next season permanently it would be a seriously good signing. He obviously gets on with ...

The story is that one of the founding directors of Interlink Scaffolding used to be a director at Industrial Scaffolding Limited and wanted to use a similar name, logo, colour scheme.
Other than that no link between the two.

Yes, we will be carrying stock in the club shop also once the pre-orders arrive. Pre-orders allow us the liquidity to do that and also gauge demand for how much stock to order.

Re: season tickets on sale
I am a 500 club member, and will be getting a new season ticket this week, I expect most will be renewing. Some 500 club extended not sure on how many. About a third expire with two thirds having extended for various lengths. Hopefully we don’t have to offer them again in future as it’ll mean finan...

Re: ISL Conference Kit
Cost price is similar to the big manufacturers but they can be produced in limited runs rather than huge minimum order quantities so prove flexible for this sort of thing.
Pricing will be announced tomorrow morning when the shirts go on sale. Or maybe they’ll be on the online shop before then....

Re: Retention for next year
I accept it’s part and parcel of being a fan and you’ll never stop it. I also expect far fewer players come on here and see if as opposed to if the conversation was borne out on twitter. However given I’m sure plenty of us are owners of the club we should at least think twice about potential impacts...

Re: Price Of Football (Twitter)
Hindsight is a wonderful thing - but if only we'd taken a mortgage out on a bit of spare land and built up our own stadium gradually like the one at Leamington or even more impressive the tameside stadium at Curzon Ashton both with their own social clubs and on site facilities. That’s not hindsight...

Re: Price Of Football (Twitter)
The (lack of) signage is just a symbol of our relationship with the rugby club. I highly doubt it would make a difference to our attendances, but it just nicely sums up our relationship with the rugby club. Biggest thing to take away from Hereford's accounts is the cash in the bank! I suppose that'...

Re: Price Of Football (Twitter)
Not even allowed signage or branding. This really bugs me. Why on earth can't we put a sign up on the road? A proper sign, a permanent sign. Think of all the cars that drive past there every single day. What is the Rugby club's problem? I don’t get the signage gripe. Yes it would be nice but it’s n...
