they aren't the ruins of a failed Football League club. That's because they have never been anywhere near the FL. Correct - the current Darlington team haven't and never will be anywhere near the FL Have a look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darlington_F.C. or http://darlingtonfootballclub.co.uk/...

Took the Grandson to your game today after a divine meal in Tanners. A great game in my eyes and the boy's too of what he saw (Couldn't see much of the game, struggled getting to the front). Felt strange watching a game I had taken my son to at a 25,000 seater stadium over a decade ago at a little ...

I was surprised at that figure I would have thought given our terrible run it would have been much worse.Darlo_Pete wrote:Thanks for the update after last nights results. Our goal difference is only -5, so that could well count as an extra point come the end of the season.

There is no doubt that the catering needs improving though and would add to the match day experience but I wouldn’t expect to be getting food for high street prices. I’d pay £3.50 as long as it was quality and represented value for money Beware what you ask for... Spennymoor fans complained about c...

Re: Leamington v Darlo
Thats a good summary of the game. The bit about wheatley is so true. Once turnbull was on he started doing those driving runs towards the box and quick exchanges of passes to open them up. Turnbull was prominent and got us going much more effectively. It was also noticeable how vocal he was in cajo...

I am refusing to watch from Pitchero at the moment and will await release of Salford's highlights. Likewise, and ditto for all the rest of our games. Re: Missing £5000
Spyman has hit the nail on the head for me. An extra 250 fans through the door spending an average of £10 on a match day is worth £52,500 over a season. If we can get a business to sponsor the open end of BM. eg Maybe Reg Vardy as the roundabout is just behind for say £10k. Then they are mentioned ...

As an exiled supporter (living in Dorset) I don't get to many games (!) but I am a shareholder and member of the Supporters Club....if I drive from Dorset for a home game and can't get in the car park I will not be happy if I have to park in town or elsewhere. I thought the original plans (and presumably planning application) contained two banks of seats on the far side of the pitch. So hopefully it is just a case of funding and building them when required.
