Re: Update Required?
7 days before a new season which is massively unique and unprecedented, where each day brings new information or added uncertainty. Unnecessary flapping is not helpful. I certainly wouldn't suggest the OP is flapping. That's just a cheap cliche, quick and easy to throw out. The conversation has got...

Re: Rip kevin stonehouse
Such sad news. I thoroughly enjoyed talking to him about football (and lots of other stuff later in the evenings...). He really enjoyed his time at Darlo and when he came back to do the FITC he was always willing to take on other tasks when needed and was a regular at Supporters' Club/Trust events.

For Saturday, I'd probably go with: - Maddison - Trotman - O'Hanlon - Hughes - Galbraith - Wheatley - Elliott - Nicholson - Syers - Thompson - Styche Sub - Ainge Sub - Saunders Sub - Henshall Sub - Burn Sub - Bancroft It's all about formations, isn't it? With a 4-4-2 Styche and Ainge up top is a bi...

Re: Vaulks on loan to Whitby
Well we won't have any trouble recalling Vaulks after a month, if he's only keeping the bench warm. All this talk of recalling him after a month confuses me (unless I've missed something obvious). Iirc, he is only on a one month loan so we don't have to recall him - he simply comes back unless the ...

Re: Former Players sly digs at TW on twitter
I am not that optimistic about the season ahead and I predict a mid table finish, however Tommy is the man and lets get behind him - I am not Tommy bashing here its just that I think we have hit a level in terms of funding where we cannot expect to win the league - the playoffs would be a great ach...

Re: Official team photo
Absolutely not saying that we should live above our means, and credit to TW for getting us within budget. All I am saying is that I believe that many of the clubs around us have strengthened what were already decent squads, whereas us having to reduce budget has, in my opinion, made us weaker than ...

I see he is on the board at Spendmore... Yes, along with Ian Walker who was previously with Durham. Looks like Brad is surrounding himself with footballing people to move the club forward. Also got a solicitor on the new board although I'm not sure of her background and whether she has any football...

I can't say I really know who he is, but reading his pedigree, he looks to be an excellent signing, who has played much higher up the pyramid  I suspect Burn and the club expect this to be a short-term stay with us as we help him get back into full-time professional football and given his ped...

Re: Joe Tait
I'd take him back (on an acceptable wage). He's a very experienced players who we know is more than capable of playing at this level. That experience is something we're lacking in the squad presently. He's also no soft touch. We need a bit more grit at the back. Plus we know he can score goals with...

Correct. 500 club tickets that weren't extended at either of the 2 option points will expire at the end of the 19/20 season.super_les_mcjannet wrote:It's 2 years so around April 2020 will be when those 500 club people need to renew.
