Re: Banbury V Darlington
Awfully frustrating night. Too many passes side to side with not enough forward passes. Didn't utilise Main anywhere near enough. He would drop short to receive the ball but would constantly get bypassed for another sideways pass. The few times Main did get the ball to feet he held it up well or spa...

Asante…. My god. Rumoured to be on a fortune and the signing on fee? Eye watering.
What are we doing? The decision making within this club this year is nothing short of a shitshow.

Some "fans" are so harsh on Twitter my word..... The bloke got Hereford to the FA Trophy final in his first managerial role. Quite clearly still eager to learn. Of course, some Hereford fans are going to say certain things. Fans only tend to remember the end of a managers tenure and pass on their wa...

Re: Darlington V Workington
Good performance tonight. Not too dissimilar from last Saturday at Bishop Stortford... Plenty of the ball just this week we created much more. Saying that, playing a team from the division below will have aided. Midfield far more solid than usual too. Salkeld looked good when he came on last week an...

Re: D.J. interview online now.
Another drab, feeling sorry for yourself interview. The club need to get a grip. There is some kind of malaise at the moment, whereby the perception is that everybody else seems to be doing better than us and we can't compete with it. DJ/RS/AA are more than happy to tell us how many full-time teams...

There are simply better players out there. I want bullies in midfield. 6 foot plus. Make teams fear us with our physicality for once.

Re: Farsley v Darlo
Our full backs are not good enough. Need Griffiths back ASAP. AA prefers ball playing/attacking full backs, we know that, but ffs sack that off now and bring in some actual lads who will defend and make it hard for the opposition otherwise we'll be nowhere near at the end of the season. Truly does b...

Re: Boston V Darlington
Impeccably observed social distancing between our midfield and forwards today. Long balls lumped from the first minute and we won none all day. Midfield overrun, 2nd best to every ball and barely any crosses. We looked like a relegation team today. Completely agree. Midfield with no passion to driv...

We need to seriously start upping these buy out clauses or just get rid of them... They're way too low. For a team as loaded as Solihull to come in and pay the rumoured £20k is a joke. We could and probably should be demanding more. I suppose that the presence, content and level of any buy out clau...

Re: FA Cup Q3
Very very poor. Leaving Wheater on for another 2/3 mins when he couldn't even walk was criminal. Ball over to top of him and Redshaw couldn't really miss. No real creativity in the team either (apart from Lambert who had a massive off day). Midfield rarely hold onto the ball for any sustained period...

They really pushed on in that first 20 minutes but without creating THAT much. A few digging out Watson again. Thought he was very good tonight. His only error of the game was the loose clearance which one of the best players in this league (Felix) ran in and tucked away. Apart from that he handled ...

I'd much rather play Walsall than the likes of Harrogate/York/Altrincham which I was fearing when they were pulling all those home teams out!

Laing is the new whipping boy I see. Did very little wrong yet his partner alongside him is exempt from any form of criticism. Laing was abysmal tonight. Was I watching a completely different game tonight? Yes there's a few stray passes which will happen when you're trying to play out from the back...

Re: FC United V Darlington match thread
Anyone who was there today will understand when I say that I was both so relieved and yet completely alarmed by today's proceedings. This very much sums it up for me... I couldn't believe how we just couldn't keep the ball for long periods of time against 9 men. Also the amount of times we found ou...

Re: Brackley Away Sat
Looking at the video of their match last night, Brackley could have hit double figures had they taken more of the many chances they created. They carved Alfreton open time and again. As far as full-back goes, Trotman is comfortable with both feet and could do a job on the left and Elliott could slo...

Appeal has gone out for any witnesses to the flare just a pity they can't be made to pay the heavy fine. How on earth can the club get fined for this though? Re: Darlington FC V Curzon Ashton Match Thread
First 25 minutes was brilliant to watch. Curzon never had a sniff... We just had no idea how to react once they had scored. Not too disheartened though. Last year we beat Salford in the season opener and went on to have a shite first half of the season. Give the lads time... I'm sure it'll click soon.

So what's everyone's plans for this trip? Are people staying in Eindhoven or Amsterdam?
Didn't Tommy say at the fans forum that all the players will be going out after and fans are welcome? Would be nice to know where they plan on staying too!
Proper buzzing for this like.
