Re: Darlington V Chorley
Really good looking weather today, so hopefully a good crowd of 1500. I'd be delighted with a draw today.

Re: Rugby League
Oh dear Rob, things are looking bleak for Castleford, after yet another loss last night. The only saving grace is the London Broncos, who are possibly even worse than Castleford.

Re: Rugby League
No surprises in the Challenge Cup games over the weekend. No doubt some of the big boys are going to be drawn together in the quarter final draw this evening.

Re: Nice bit of trivia
I've just watched a bit of Airdreonians beating TNS in the Scottish Challenge Cup!! Then I ended up looking at National League South and Taunton and Truro have so many games to play as they've been sharing Taunton's pitch. I can't believe Truro are playing at Gloucester now. That's a 400 mile round...

Re: What's the point of fan ownership?
There is plenty of room between the current ground and towards the road leading from Blands Corner into the town. The advantage of moving to that location is the rugby could keep their clubhouse and the water pipe would not be a problem anymore.

Re: Darlington V Peterborough Sports
Are you stupid? The lads are being ran into the ground. Chorley are flying and will be our hardest game out of the last remaining fixtures - give a few of them a rest to recharge their batteries for the Warrington game and beyond. I agree that it would be a mistake to think about giving up on a gam...

Re: Darlington V Peterborough Sports
Thought we were pretty poor until we scored, after that we looked far better. But I think a draw would have been a fairer result for a pretty decent Peterborough Sports team. The PA is rubbish especially in the tinshed, I never heard who was MOTM or the crowd announcement.

Re: Rugby League
Below par performance last night by Wigan, but they found a way to win against an impressive Salford and that was despite having a player sent off, when they were losing.

Re: Blyth V Darlington
Brilliant performance tonight, we were way better than Blyth who looked pretty poor. The scoreline didn't do us justice. Hard to pick a MOTM as they were all superb. Great following tonight and good to see some fans had travelled long distances to come up for the game.

Was there any trouble after the game, as saw various police cars and vans heading towards the town centre with lights flashing and in a hurry?

650 sold   Great effort so far, regardless of what’s gone on before the backing this weekend is essential. Makes a mockery of Spenny bringing their usual 100 too us because its the worst away end in the league…pot kettle Personally I hope the full allocation isn't sold out, as 800 in th...

Re: Darlington v Banbury 2/03/24
I like how we play more positive footie. In the past we would have tried to shup up shop at 2-1, but we kept going forward trying to get another and putting the game to bed. On the way out of the game I heard 2 lads who said they were giving up their Boro season tickets and would come and watch Darl...

Yes he has Pete if you read near the bottom, Have you realized that Pete has been posting these ridiculous statements for years to get a reaction. Previous one was after the Curzon game where he stated 10 games left, game on. Of course we had 11 left. Hundreds over the years, but don't mention the ...

Re: Darlington v Banbury 2/03/24
The real deal is having a manager who is just down to knowing the basics required to win games. Not over complicating things and a million miles from what JG was attempting to do. We are right on the coattails now of those above and if and when we are above the dotted line I can see us staying ther...

Re: Darlington v Banbury 2/03/24
Good to see Andy Collett at the game today. Apparently he has some coaching roll at Man City and he has been to see Matty Young around 10 times. I'm not surprised that Man City are interested in him. It was great to see Matty celebrating our goals as much as the rest of the team.

Re: Darlington v Banbury 2/03/24
Great team performance, we were very dominant apart from the first 10mins of the first half. Great to see a better crowd of over 1400, hopefully even more on Tuesday evening against Scunthorpe. Platt was superb and rightly was awarded MOTM. But it was hard to pick the MOTM, as there were some fantas...

Well Wigan managed to avoid the post World Club Challenge flop that befell St.Helens after their World Club Challenge win last year in Australia. Surprised to see Leeds beating Catalan today and Salford are beating Hull KR at the moment 12-0.

Re: The Bottom Seven, Tuesday Feb 27th 2024
I share your optimism Ginge, I feel we have definitely turned a corner. Plenty of games left and I feel that we need to look at our results/performances rather than looking at what other teams are doing. I think we have more than a 50/50 chance of avoiding relegation.

Brilliant result, only 3 points off safety, although our goal difference makes it effectively 4. Ten games left, game on.
