Re: Hunting..
Well yeah, if you go round using the word 'killed' fannies tend to get their knickers in a twist straight off the bat. If you say 'humanely dispatched' it has less of an effect on them. It's not for my benefit that i use it! My motivation for hunting? Food, pest control, crop protection, livestock ...

Well done for completely ignoring my last post.Quakerz wrote:You want to make your mind up why you're hunting. One minute it's for food, the next it's for sport, I mean "pest control".
Just admit that you like killing stuff.
You eat meat so don't try and lecture me about the rights and wrongs of hunting.

Re: Hunting..
Never had it happen then so how can you comment? Would you kill all your chickens in one go and only eat one? Nah, didn't think so. Have you eaten every single thing that you've murdered? I have eaten, given away or fed to the dogs all meat that is considered edible. Just because the chicken you co...

A rabbit is a rabbit, a fox a fox, i don't need to call them by another name to humanely dispatch one! By humanely dispatch, you mean shoot fuck out of, yes? You are staunch anti religion and yet say all animal life is sacred, a Buddhist ideal. Have you got a heifer residing in your living room? Yo...

Re: Hunting..
We will need the hunters to look after us when the Chinese take over the world and a rearguard action is fought from the hills. They will be the only ones keeping the supermarkets stocked and able to set traps and shoot things. Quite...anyway everyone knows you're not a real man if you can't hunt, ...

Fatty, I'm not a veggie or a hunt Sab. I understand that to keep a balance certain animals from time to time need to be culled. Vermin? Is that how you bring yourself to be able to kill something, by labeling it vermin and therefore creating your own form of cognitive dissonance? All life should be treated as sacred.
