Re: Darlington v Chester

Who remembers 1960/1 season, mid December in the fog at Feethams. DFC won 5-1 but only a few people actually witnessed the goals. Five thousand plus in the ground so moving from end to end was not possible.

Re: Boost The Budget 19/20

AMAZING after one day to have reached so much. I have upped mine from last year, the wife thinks that I am mad! No I am a Darlo fan from afar and cannot attend home games, going to away games does not help the cause, BtB does.

Re: The Darlo Fans Radio Podcast

Maybe I should not say it but being a far away fan I get most of my info from Uncovered, which can on occasions be far from riveting or uplifting! I absolutely loved the podcast, on expletives or asterisks. It was refreshing to listen to over an hour of thoughtful comment. The whole episode was most...

Agreed, and due to away fans being crammed into a small section of the stand you couldn't get away from it. Too much lager and too little brains.

Re: Fans Radio

So for home games it could be taking 100 to 200 off the gate? At £14 a head over the season this must be costing the club £20k to £30k a season? As a long distance fan who has put in excess of £1000 into the club over the last 5 years I am amazed that someone should think that home games should not...

Mid-day Kick off. All ticket. I arrived just after the kick off en route from a holiday in Pembrokeshire. No ticket and so I watched the game through a gap in the iron doors at the end of the pitch. I nearly saw Jim Willis get injured and nearly saw the goal. The other Telford experience was the FA...

A brilliant post. Much appreciated on a day when expectations were high...and then dashed. I had considered travelling up for the game from the midlands, specially as the wife is a way on a girly weekend. But you sent me a message. Don't go you said, loud and clear. You remembered that I made the tr...
