Re: Spennymoor managers gone!
Perhaps the duo fancy a spell under Raj at Pools? Nah! Even they have more sense than that (although they probably deserve each other!) Already suggested in this thread..........People seem to think they aren't good enough for managing in the Football League so they wouldn't qualify for Pools.........

Terrible timing after the fundraising game last weekend for Lee's wife. No Pete, terrible timing would have been before the fundraising game. Or are you suggesting that any manager with family concerns should never get sacked? Have a look at the earlier replies by TDK1 and Darlogramps, who seem to ...

Re: Darlington V Chester
Enjoyed the game, lads really worked hard for that result. Looked a decent crowd as well considering we haven’t been at our best lately. What was the attendance, anyone? 1200 I think was announced over the tannoy. There was less than 2000 home fans at Crawley yesterday, for a league game two divisi...

Re: Darlington v Hereford Saturday 9th October 2021
Good result and sounds like a very good defensive performance. Well done to all. Good to see an attendance of 1509 as well. A pleasant surprise that we managed to put 300 on the gate from last week England should play every week! Nowt to do with England playing...........It's because the Vic was fu...

Hard to Believe..........
That it's twenty years ago today since the last time Darlo beat Pools.
Where the hell has that time gone, I can remember the game (and others) as if it was only last week !!
Still looking forward to the next encounter, preferably by you lot coming up rather than us coming down.

Good to see Andy is talking sense. Hope they really struggle back in the FL. Just remember that we could still be in the same league as them in 2022/23, well we can all dream!!! OYD, don't get complacent your owner isn't know for longevity . I predict he will bale sooner rather than later. Certainly not getting complacent. Although we haven't experienced anything negative yet from Raj we know, looking from the outside, what went on your place. All we can do is make the mos...

Re: Poolies Feeling The Pinch
Back to the original conversation about Poolies. It may sound nasty but I hope it all comes down over there. I'm normally quite pleased to see any north east sides succeeding and would love a time where we are all doing well at higher levels. However, once they allowed RS to get involved after the ...

Re: David Ferguson
Presumably his starting point is the £2m he has invested (loaned) plus probably his totted up interest rate on top. But surely if this consortium has got gazillions to invest in this golden opportunity to take over a non-league club, then paying off RS will be just chicken feed to them. Have you he...

Re: Hartlepool match confirmed at BM
Bit pointless when all of the town will be open and poolie fans shouldn't be in there as the game will be all ticket and they'll be segregated with their tickets. It is stupid Pete. I was in the bar at the arena before our game with Darlo and, to be honest, the atmosphere and craic were great (not ...

Ebsfleet raised £490 today for the cause.... Are we gonna do one on Saturday?? I would like to think that you wouldn't......not that a lot of Poolies wouldn't be gratefull but I think you have enough concerns of your own. As things stand, at the moment, we still seem to have the support of the loca...

Yes if they're not careful they'll be doing a York City and getting relegated again. I think they'll find the Conference tough and I wouldn't be surprised if come the end of the season they're nearer the bottom than the top. I hope this post turns out to be up to your usually level of accuracy Pete...

They've never won anything apart from the Durham Senior Cup I believe. They were going to win Division 2 one year, but lost their final game at Rushden & Diamonds, to main their proud record of never winning owt of significance. At least they don't need to worry about the expense of building a trop...

Smacks of desperation to me. Can't see why Jones wasn't given till the end of the season, getting rid of him with 2 games left of the season is plain bonkers, but we are talking about poolie after all. Pete, if you'd been there on Saturday you wouldn't be wondering why. I'd honestly rather have a f...

But we are a smaller club than Hartlepool. Smaller ground, smaller fan base, part time club. However, we also don't have the worry in the back of our minds that our sugar daddy might pull out and plunge us into administration at any time or the Tax man might come calling, and I know which position ...
