And only scored 20 goals, that is a major concern.

Re: Leamington (A)

We don't need to find the perfect striker, but someone on loan who actually knows how to play as a striker would be a massive help. We have nobody who even knows how to play the role. Yet AA brought in Lambert. Still cannot understand why AA brought in Lambert with all our midfield options. The way ...

Re: Leamington (A)

DFR makes it sound pretty dire tbh. It sounds like we've created nothing. I don't accept we really need a big target man, but we definitely need someone else to be the man at the top of the front 3. It's increasingly clear that Campbell just can't do it. DFR saying he looks a bit disinterested, whi...

Have we actually had a shot at goal yet?.Going by the commentary I don't think we have.20 goals in 18 games says it all.

Slung into the box, sounds like we're getting bullied to be honest. Elliott down injured and no back up keeper.... yikes.
If they are bullying us Solihull will have a field day.We are far too lightweight.

After seeing the highlights we have nowt to whinge about. The ball had come to a stop before the lad took the free kick and the goal scorer was definitely onside and ran in behind while Storey and Laing were stood with their mouths open catching flies. Just seen the highlights and our defence were ...

Re: Today's results Saturday November 30th 2019

Hi Ginge thanks for your overview as always. The Chester game is the 7-12-19 & not the 23-11-19. Chester struggled to beat Bradford PA at home yesterday, so they're not going to be too confident next Saturday. They would have had us watched yesterday and looking at that farcical 2nd half would thin...

How the hell did we lose that game after a brilliant first 45 mins where we should have been 4 up.You just knew what would happen after that sloppy pass by Campbell which gifted them a goal on the restart but where was our marking to give their lad an open goal The 2nd was crazy, not sure about the ...

Re: Solihull Moors Away - FA Trophy 1st Rnd

This tie will be a real contrast in styles, that's for sure. Tim Flowers makes no secret of the fact that he likes to bang the ball into the box as quickly as possible and favours big, bullying, physical players. He said that he soon came to appreciate that fancy technical football gets short shrif...

If we can match Walsall over 2 games we can certainly get a result against them.Think they are a big physical side so contrasting styles.Draw could have been a lot kinder but it will be close the same as Walsall.

3 weekends now that O'Neill has been kicking his heels. He would have benefited more staying at Darlo for the duration of the agreed loan at least. Really surprised at the quality of Gainsborough considering they are 2nd bottom, non league football is light years ahead of the standard 5-10 years ago, the gap is closing rapidly with FL clubs, certainly no easy games in our league.

If we could find a role for him I'd love to see him back. Maybe there's some sort of coaching role? Another one for the "three times a Quaker" list! Should never have been released by TW, yet another crazy decision by him, was certainly good enough for us. Sent from my moto g(6) play using Tapatalk

Feeling very flat about it. Disappointed with our defeat but not the manner of it. Fine margins and all that. Thought Walsall played it well actually and didn't give us too much of a sniff. We just didn't have that little bit of luck. Still, we will always have Walsall away and having been at Leami...

I'm not even sure it would have made that much difference to the outcome last night. It was an out-and-out centre forward that we were crying out for last night. Someone with a bit of presence to really trouble their defence, hold the ball up, bring others into play and score goals. A bit like Ty O...

If you're only going to watch one goal from the weekend, make it Callum Roberts' hat-trick goal for Blyth Spartans, it's amazing, after going the full length of the pitch. He's now got 13 for them this season... they'll be well fecked when he moves on, as he surely will. Aye, nice goal. Good run an...
