Re: FA Cup draw - Darlo Away to Walsall

A quick scan of the comments on their FB page and it’s clear to see that many of their fans can see us winning. It’d doom and gloom there at the moment. Darrell Clarke is questioning the players’ desire etc. It’s got ‘shock’ written all over it. Only downer is that the negativity will produce a poo...

Horrible draw Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Ron, not all doom and gloom. I'm in Birmingham with the family that day so will be there. Walsall away was the nearest the to where I happen to be. On second thoughts Adam did not realise they were relegated to League 2 and are near the bottom so you n...

Re: Daily Mail report (this one is actually quite good)

Jason Ainsley did not look a happy bunny in his PMI, having a right go about the ref and him and Roberts having "words" with each other on the highlights.Just makes you wonder how much they were relying on a good cup run....looking like the feelgood factor is swinging away from The Pride and more to...

Alun Armstrong in pre-season: “All the lads have been great, apart from one or two from last season.” See the Northern Echo. Jonny Burn hasn’t featured this season despite being under contract, even in the midst of numerous injuries and absences in our squad. Jonny Burn performed badly last season ...

He’s just signed for Whickham. Strange as he had the offer to sign for Whickham anyhow, must have wanted the pay out is the only assumption I can come to. Re: Hignett Out

Ho ho ho, that's Singh's first knee-jerk. It will go downhill from here. I pray that Gray gets the job because they clearly want to work together, and the bonus is that Gray will take them backwards. Not only that but the fans will go into total meltdown - they absolutely hate him and that’s before...

Re: Hereford v tamworth

They are going well but in terms of an away tie I would rather this one than any in the league above and lots in our league like a side such as Brackley, York or King's Lynn. It's a better tie than Hereford and far closer, allowing more fans to go and back us. I also don't think the plastic pitch w...

That result means a pretty big following of Darlo fans which will create a cracking atmosphere and could outnumber the home fans easily.
Gives us a great chance to make the first round.

Its a shame for TW but I met some Corby directors in Chesham last season (on my way to Wembley with City again) and they liked him but said there was no way he would be brought back as a manager. Dont think hes cut out for it, sames principles in business, you have to be organised and strategic and...

Two more signings at Bradford PA yesterday, including another central defender to join Heaton. Must have been quite a wad of notes down the back of that sofa :...

I’d recommend listening to his interview on the website. He sounds immensely frustrated, understandably so. Some have been quick to criticise because of our slow start, but the effect of the injuries must be considered because it’s clearly having a big impact. He also says he’s 70-80% there with th...

I think the approach to Saturday's game is straightforward. It's an important match for a variety of reasons including monetary, generating interest and getting a win to help build confidence. You field your strongest side to give you the best chance of winning but don't take risks with players who...

Ridiculous to say the playoffs are over, this league is wide open, we are still in September, a couple of players will be back soon from injury and still have 30 or so games to go.Totally disagree with your comment.

Re: Darlo v York

Not really mentioned on here but thought Hedley had a very decent game, kept Ferguson fairly quiet and looked pretty solid.I would keep him there and with Liddle looking like he is coming back, then that should be the full backs sorted. Atkinson hopefully can slot into midfield and with O'Neill back...
