Re: Merry Christmas Quakers
You will always get fans jumping onboard with what looks like the easy option of someone willing to take control and put money in. We have had our moments and no doubt will again where some do not like the fan funded model, and in fairness it has limitations but has less risk than one person who you...

Re: Brackley v Darlo
We have had all the initial funding we are getting. The next set of funding is largely loans with small amount being grants, however the National League haven't confirmed anything to the clubs as yet. So the clubs have no idea what they will be given or what they can loan. It's ok though as the Nati...

Re: FA Cup TV Details
It may be something that everyone knows but just in case, BBC red button is channel 601 on freeview. Starts at 1.20pm. Think we have a chance to pull this one off and into the next round. "Up the Quakers" Also Channel 981 on Sky (unhelpfully described as "BBC RB1"), it's on the Schedule Thanks for ...

Re: Team v BPA
Surely the message about Reid has to get through to AA sooner or later...... What's the message? AA rates him as a squad player, for the money he is on probably not a bad shout. Whilst he wouldn't be first on the teamsheet I can understand with Holness and Hatfield injured why he was selected. Just...

Re: Team v BPA
No idea what we were trying to do tonight. O'Neill playing deep was bizarre and should have been canned not persisted with. Reid offers precisely nothing and our midfield had no energy again. Unfortunately this is now 4 identical home performances which is a worrying trend. Yep that was the one big...

Re: Tyrone O’Neill
What a crazy amount of quality up front though with Maguire, Campbell, Charman and O'Neill. Looks like Amantchi will have to make way, the lad needs to play and he isn't really going to get it here currently.

Re: Tyrone O’Neill
Campbell isn't leaving in any way, he just meant playing 4-3-3 you can only play one of Maguire, Charman or O'Neill. Campbell on the other hand can play in 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 etc. you could argue some of the others possibly could be the three he mentioned all largely play as the spearhead of a three or ...

Re: Fans before Christmas
Don't think a loan scheme massively helps many of the clubs, it may help cash flow and I don't think we would take any major risks these days. However loaning money for day to day spends isn't the best plan, if clubs need it then they will/should but it seems like this could be just kicking the prob...

Re: We are on the box
Does the 13.30 kick off change the situation on overnight hotel costs. To get there on the day would mean a ridiculously early start, so will we now be able to claim hotel bill as part of our travel expenses from the host club rather than fund it ourselves as at Swindon? Yes we can now get overnigh...

Re: We are on the box
On the FA website is just says that: 'The FA live broadcast fee for these fixtures is £37,500 per club.' Would be a great bonus if thats the case. I think that's for the four games chosen to be broadcast on BBC or BT rather than the red button. Nope 8 games are chosen for £37.5k to each team. So we...

Re: DFCSG AGM Tonight
Yep really good AGM, very positive view on where we are heading and putting the right things in place with a longer ambition of full time, own ground & football league.
Obviously none of that is easy to achieve and we need to be financially stable before moving forward.

Re: Back to Basics Boston on Tuesday
Can see a number of changes on Tuesday although I don't think we can completely change the team, Boston are one of the favourites for the league and will be a tough proposition. So many players need game time or likely to be back in - Sousa, Hatfield, Maguire, McMahon, Watson, Laing, Minter & Atkins...

Re: Swindon away
Just watched the highlights on the official site. Is it just me or does anyone else think that Charmans "offside" goal was actually onside. Also. Rivers was clearly tripped in the box and we should have had a penalty. I know it's irrelevant now but shows that we could and in my opinion should have ...

Re: Swindon away
Any home draw should guarantee the game is covered live on TV. Looking forward to AA being on TV at Harrogate. Not quite. Stockport at home for example hardly gets the pulse racing. Think even that would get us picked for the digital option though. Not the main 4 games but the other ones, which I b...

Fantastic result, makes the fundraising for the stay over well worth it. Think our goals will feature on BBC2 in just over 5 mins at HT in FCUM v Doncaster game. Just another thought, quite often the draw for the next round is help at the home of the club that caused the previous rounds biggest ups...

Re: SWINDON TV COVERAGE ~ HOW?
The iFollow system seems a bit silly as you register with the team you ‘follow’. Which is fine if your side is in the EFL as you’ll then be able to log in to your teams iFollow site to see both home and away fixtures. However, I signed up a few years back when abroad to watch Burton V Boro. If I tr...
