Re: Support package announced

If all confirmed then £30k per month seems reasonable for us. Not sure how some teams with smaller attendances get the same as teams with higher etc. generally but you get what you are given and get on with it I guess. If I am honest without really looking at all numbers and how long this goes on fo...

Surely Skelmersdale the lowest ranked team left in the competition would be best at Home?

Or the bye and the money, see you in the next round.

To be honest the lad isn't even 20 yet, so if it was a few years ago then it probably doesn't matter.

He has a chance to show us what he can do, if it doesn't work then no one loses anything.

Yep, would take a point right now and then try and get all three Sat.

Obviously we all want to win but it's a tough away start to the league season.

A very decent draw for us that one. They again are further in prep but we will have played two league games by then.

Can't ask for much more, the rest us up to us as they have nothing to lose.

The real question is are DFR going to be there? I won't be paying into another clubs coffers while my own club's finances are in jeopardy.
Yes DFR will be there so you will be able to listen in.

Wrightson has signed for West Auckland so you can count that one out, also AA wasn’t interested.

genuine question here if we get drawn away to a club below is in the pyramid are we allowed to take a small number of visiting supporters as I believe they can still admit one third of their attendance.
Currently no unless things change.

Re: Darlington v Prescot Cables

Well we got through to the next round, I honestly thought we had messed it up when they had scored four pens out of four. Thought we were ok but a bit slow, rusty which is probably what we expected a bit, the result was everything looking at other clubs going out against teams who are 4/5 games into...

You can test it on your TV now in theory, a 30 second clip is on there to test. Unless you just meant the actual live feed from Blackwell Meadows, which yeah all waiting and hoping it kicks in fine. I can't see why it wouldn't but think we all spare a thought for those involved in making sure it wor...

Do you mean this one "Holmes out for the season" in regards to two threads? http://www.darlofc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=38674 Yeah as I said was guessing, think a statement would be good from the club really in regards to it. We don’t have two threads on this do we? We may have insurance in regards to some part of wages but we don’t have insurance to pay all medical costs I would guess. Not sure if Jamie has just gone and done his own thing or if the club perhaps whilst supportive don’t want to promote. My only thought o...

Re: Darlington v Prescot Cables

I don't think any of us have seen enough in pre-season to really decide or know what to expect in terms of 4-3-3 or 4-4-2. Tricky one for AA does he go attacking not sure what his team can do fully yet and the opposition are further on in their progress or does he go 4-3-3 with a solid midfield 3 an...

Already purchased mine, real easy to set up an account and purchase the game on Saturday.

Always best to set up early and be prepared.

Amazing work to set it up and be ready for this game, hope it all goes really well.

I will be buying the game this weekend anyway. I do hope we get a season for obvious reasons, but also to ensure our players get paid. While I’d imagine most have other jobs, this will be a significant amount of their income. We need support from the higher levels, obviously, but I still think we s...

Very decent draw in normal circ, home to a team 2 divisions below.

However they are 3 games in and won 3, so doing well and much further ahead in their season prep.

Will any fans be allowed and will it go ahead, anyhow back to the world of having no idea what is going on.

It's a rough guess, so we will have to await an official number. More seats and probably more spread out steps now, with a bigger capacity.

Blackwell has a lot of flat standing, who knows maybe Spenny will only get 800 or something.

Wonder how Spendy are planning on fitting everyone in if they actually sell a few tickets. I actually think it's a great idea and wonder if we should make a similar gamble for a season or two. So rent is just short of £1,550 per league game at DRFC, so we will need to clear that and the cost we have at the Arena also. However no matter which stadium we played we had at least one cost, so if the arena cost match the above then we need to find that in extra income. Playing at BM gave us no ...
