Re: Season VOIDED

Not sure legally you can change the contracts of players, they can maybe sign temp extensions etc. but I guess legally don't have to. FA and World football associations could hold off on approving signing on forms, so they can't sign for anyone else. Which means it would be better to sign an extensi...

Re: Season VOIDED

Agree whatever decision they make will be wrong for some. As Darlo are midtable then it makes no real difference to us, however if we were 3rd and on good form whilst 1st and 2nd were stumbling I would hate PPG if it went against us. Also if we were top and they made the season void I would be gutte...

Re: 50/50 Sat 21st March

Each to their own I think.

In the current climate I think people who want to do it do it, those who don't then fair play. It's a tough time and people need to do what is best for them and no pressure to do anything really.

50/50 Sat 21st March

So joined this from twitter if anyone wants to be in. Prize over £200 already and the other half goes to the club, bit of fun if anyone wants to join. Well done Andy, nice little proactive fun with the club benefiting. https://twitter.com/AndyClarke5/status/1240350433870336000 The unofficial @Offici...

Re: The moment we've all been waiting for...

Sadly the reality for us is we will be weaker next season in terms of budget but will others be weaker, who knows and not something I want to concentrate on as we can only control our own future. At the moment we are expecting to spend more money than we would of from the EB Season Ticket as we pay ...

Every cloud has a silver lining Salford city have had their Wembley final cancelled - all together now aaagh.
I would much rather be forced to watch and cheer them on to win, than deal with what's happening to be honest.

I would rather it was shut anyhow even if the Dolphin Centre was open.

Those who staff it shouldn't be out there dealing day to day with the public currently anyhow, its not essential.

I think games will all be off anyhow soon.

Harrogate v Solihull is called off as 4 players are under isolation.

We just have to accept it and work out how to ensure our football club doesn't have financial issues.

I do agree that an update in regards to the AGM should be output via DFC and probably also DFCSG although a joint output would be expected. I am sure the club really want support on Season Ticket Sales, Boost the Budget and many other things. Just because someone doesn't own shares in the club itsel...

At Blackwell Meadows I would say. I presume they mean the Arena in terms of plastic pitch but I do believe that may be off the cards for the arena currently.

We won’t get 1k season ticket holders either.

Stoddart’s fault it seems because he reported it.

Even though the club have commented in the article.

It's been announced on the 1st March for the last 3 years minimum so not really a surprise.

Hopefully we can hit similar figures as other season and convert our 500 club leavers into ST holders.

They have been in playoffs before and allowed so the entry in wiki must be incorrect ? Yeah must be, can't trust Wiki on any of this detail really. If I remember rightly they have two seated stands, one down the side and a small one behind one of the goals. Football ground guide advises 507 seats. ...

Re: Retention for next year

I think in all of this people can't have too many complaints if AA decides to put in place a wage structure and recruitment policy that he feels will maximise the use of our limited resources, even if that means taking some potentially unpopular decisions. All the indications are that he has a clea...

Agreed up to a point, however thought club was to make a statement about SV at Xmas. No problem with NDA's etc & why FD+CM left but more important that we get someone in to replace 2 key roles at the club. Fans could be reassured if a person at Board level made a communication on the club website. ...

Les, it's probably because he wants to. Back in early 18 at a Netcafé he said he wanted to invest in the club at a later date and that was 2 years ago. Whilst I am really happy if he wants to throw his hard earned cash into a black hole/lovely local football club like the rest of us fools then fair...

Just a bit concerned that DJ has loaned £50k to the club at some time in the past. Has this been spent and on what? How many others have made loans and are any still outstanding? Yep Atkinson is a massive favourite of AA so be amazingly surprised if he leaves, more chance Wheatley will be on his way.
