According to the BBC Scottish Football Gossip it looks like Heaton is heading to St Mirren in a £75K deal.
He must like playing in Black and White!

Good performance from quite a few players but Galbraith and especially Heaton were standouts today. A fantastic signing.

I'll vote no because I don't want to hear anything from Singh, not now - not next week - not ever! If we accept anything from him the last 5 years have been a sham. I'm amazed and disappointed at the support he seems to be getting. I'm now also disappointed at MG for speaking as he did at the fans f...

Re: Potential new investors
To be honest if Raj was involved then I think we'd stay as we were. Let's say it was just some figures like Hodgy and McClaren. If Hodgy did his best rousing speech then you'd still get members voting to stay fan-owned and being extremely cautious, which would be their right. You may at best get 90...

Re: Reality of life
Just read Scott's article, it matches what I think a lot of fans will be thinking and if we want to progress it is the only way forward. Anyone who wants further promotions while remaining with the current setup is probably going to be disappointed as it won't get any better than this. Let's not get...

Martin Gray basically he said he has two investors lined up. They want 51%+ of club. If this doesn't happen & his budget is cut then himself & his management team (& no doubt a lot of the players) will be off at the end of season. 7 days time. That's not how I remember his words. I think you're wro...

It couldn't have been spelt out any plainer last night - stay 100% fan owned and see this level as our peak with almost definite decline to Evostick again and yearly battles to balance the books or go for a fan/investor split with the chance of something better. On those terms it is almost a no brai...

Thought Galbraith and Hunter were excellent today - I'd be tempted to keep those 2 in the centre of defence. Galbraith would've been my choice for man of the match.

Gillies was excellent first half - second half I'd to check to see if he was still on the pitch. Nuneaton did a job stopping ball supply to him and Beck.

Re: Nuneaton Match Thread
Teams like Nuneaton will kill off football as a spectator sport - dire to watch and Darlo got sucked in. Thought Hunter had an excellent game at RB, wouldn't have picked Tez as MOTM. Midfield seem to be toiling.

I don't think The Speaker is allowed a vote so if everyone turns up for a vote it is an uneven number.

Great substitutions and tactical change to turn this match round. Scott coming into midfield for the ineffective Bell made such a difference.

They just built the new office block next to the town hall for Capita didn't they? Not for Capita - they built it for the Department for Education staff at Mowden Hall. The Capita staff at Mowden Hall are moving to Lingfield Point. A council loan still sounds an interesting option to explore if lan...

Re: Now that's what call showing fighting spirit!!
Never forget that the first season McCoist was in charge we blew a lead of over 10 points before the penalty for going into admin was imposed so the writing was already on the wall that Ally wasn't going to hack it as a manager. The problems at the club ironically probably extended his stay. Now tha...

You wouldn't want Darlo_Pete to actually post something sensible would you!
lo36789 pretty much summarised it perfectly and in the long run it may be of benefit not to have gone up this year as it'll give us time to get the right manager/team in place after the mistakes of the last 4 years.

Re: Next Season's NPL Div 1 North! Scarborough Athletic aw
Strange Scarborough being talked about as a derby match - it will take longer to get to Brid than it will to get to the likes of Kendal, Lancaster, Harrogate, Ossett, Brighouse and even the Greater Manchester clubs. Hope it's a Saturday game.

Re: Saturday - Darlo v Ossett Albion
The pitch made Harrogate RA's look premier league class - it was barely playable! The spine of the team kept us in it today, the likes of Thommo couldn't get going and it wasn't a surprise when he went off. 3 hard earned points as the state of the pitch meant we had to play too many balls in the air...

Re: Whitby Town v Darlington Match Thread
Totally deliberate stamp - thought Brown was going on the pitch from the bench to get him for it. Very poor thing to do in a friendly. As for the match - not a 2nd half to remember for the skipper! Thought Moore and Williamson did well first half when they were played in and Robinson looked good at ...

Interesting that we're Calder Darlington 1883 and then for the rest of the article it's simply Darlington. I sincerely hope once we progress through the leagues we get referred to as 'Darlington' I refer to Halifax, Chester, Rangers, Wimbledon etc as exactly that because that's who they are. I find...

The CIC board is in place already. Exactly, the self appointed CIC board is in place and will control who is added to it and will not be having elections at this point in time if I heard correctly tonight so the fans won't have their say. Cynically it looks to me the fans put up the money and other...

It was well attended but so difficult to hear due to the top table not using a mic. The Powerpoint presentation on finances was also difficult to read for those at the back. How can the CIC have a board in place without an AGM - they seem to have secured that one nicely for themselves? Interesting game! Thought the 'assault' that earned a booking near the end was the worst challenge of them all and really should've been another red card. Thought Emms raised the team performance after he came on and is worthy of a starting place. Overall I would give Leon Scott M.O.M.

SPL capacity rules was dropped a few seasons ago to 6000 - it used to be 10K. Rangers will do just fine whatever league we start in, can't say the same for others but that is their lookout! Sadly this story isn't finished yet, probably still more twists to come now that the SFL clubs have quite righ...
