Re: When Watson and Mitchell took over…
https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/national-league-north/league-table/date/20240101 We were 8 adrift on New Year's Day Mikky, is Football Web pages a site where you can load up historic league tables by date? Yep, it's a great little resource. The table looked a lot nicer a year before... https://w...

Re: Asante thread
I came on the site yesterday and noticed that a thread on the subject of Mr Asante seems to have disappeared. I don't ever recall a thread disappearing before. Anyone have an idea why this can happen? It dropped back to page two when I deleted the spam post that led to it being bumped to the top.

New server
Afternoon all, Uncovered has been moved to a new server. Hopefully the worst thing that happens as a result of the move is that you might need to log in again, but if you do notice any issues, please let me know. We're looking at moving the forum to completely new software over the summer - this is ...

Re: Unwanted posts on here
Can I ask Mikky why posts especially on this forum, which are clearly spam are not being deleted after they have been reported? them being left on here is encouraging others to post their rubbish on here. I have PM'd Mikky about this issue, the PM has been read but no response & the posts are just ...

Don't forget we'll be losing Ainge as well - we've not been paying his whole wage this year, granted... but we won't be paying it at all soon.

Apparently the winner is a part-time footballer as well (Oxford City, NLS) but he just went AWOL in order to appear on the show. So it says here, at least: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-o ... e-51613040

Re: Boston Away
"could/would/should of" “off of” I think these are both referred to as a 'Matterface' in commentary parlance, as in: "Ooh, he's tried a lob there and it looks like it could of come off of the defender's arm." "You've gone full Matterface there, [insert commentator's name]! Also, it was a chip, not ...

I don't particularly like Love Island and Luke's presence on it isn't going to have me reaching for the TV remote, but I almost want to "OK boomer" Mr Wilson over that column. Very odd.

Just seen the two posts - they were quoting a link from a post I'd previously approved. Not sure why it re-flagged the same one again!

It'll only happen if Akismet (our anti-spam plugin) thinks your post could be spam. If the post is too short, or contains lots of links, or the grammar's a bit off, that can trigger it. We don't have to manually approve EVERYTHING - just the suspicious looking stuff. Every time we approve a post it'...

I understand the libalellous part but what IF what's been rumoured is actually true do us fans not deserve to know ? It's a fan owned club after all and it's our money we put into the club. Even it's just a statement just to say hes left his role at the club, If it was true, then it would not be th...

Re: Craig Morley
Some people on the Tin Shed really don't get social media and are posting some 'I heard this and I heard that' rumours, with some potentially very defamatory stuff being posted. I honestly don't think some of them can differentiate between gossiping in the pub and putting it out there for people to...

I thought cards were competition specific now, meaning Hedley would miss the replay owing to being sent off in the original tie?

Re: The Darlo Fans Radio Podcast
We're recording a new episode tonight and we're looking for short audio clips from people (10 - 15 seconds - although the ones we've had so far are a bit longer, mostly - and keep 'em clean!) summing up Saturday. Were you gutted we didn't win after leading for most of the game? How did you feel when...

Re: Tamworth V Darlington Match Thread
Equally, if we did have to move the game to the Arena on "safety grounds" I don't think we're allowed to make more money from it - I think we still take 50% of our actual capacity on gate receipts, and anything over that goes into a neutral pot for the FA (their Christmas party fund, probably!) I re...

Re: The Darlo Fans Radio Podcast
Sadly, with my laptop speakers at 100% I could barely hear what Kev Luff, Craig Stoddard and DJ were saying. There is also no way of turning it up on the page either. I could hear the other two guys clearly (Michael Price and Stuart Armstrong is it?) - so what is going on there then? Can everybody ...

Well if not a fans forum then perhaps a podcast to update us on finances, board replacements for John Woolnough and any update on Arena/ Blackwell it’s a while since we had one. You mean like the 15 minute catch up with David Johnston in the episode we released yesterday, then? https://darlofansrad...

Guess we want to be drawn away to 43: http://www.thefa.com/news/2019/oct/16/f ... ils-161019 - failing that, we want to be the ball that's left at the end - lucky winners this time!

Merged a couple of topics that got opened together on this one.
Also: s***. Not the worst draw in terms of opposition but another long trip to a "Northern" half club.
