sorry perhaps not the clearest,all I'm saying is those of us that are away from the North East are often met with the response to who's shirt is!

Most Premier league clubs have there name on the shirt somewhere and the majority know who they are. In all honesty this is what puts me off our shirts.

I'm also in agreement with you but for exiles and being a small non league club surely to promote our name this needs serious consideration in the future. Our shirt often gets the response"who's shirt is that"!!!
I've said before it needs to have Darlington on it somewhere!

I for one wouldn't mind getting the odd snippets of news during this quiet period of no football. Keep the excitement for the coming season going etc after all it's a fan owned club and as a fan am interested!

Released players, stadium developments.

Having Darlington on the shirt would be beneficial and to help state to others who we are would be useful. When we were sponsored by Darlington Building Society the sponsor did the work for us. Raise the clubs profile, living in the South folk don't have a clue whose shirt it is!
