Shocked that I would have to pay £15 each for my 13 and 15 year old
Was planning on going but now not as £45 for an adult and 2 kids at this level is ridiculous and way more than every team in the league where the kids rates apply to under 16s not under12s

Re: Friendly - If Postponed
Team was
Jameson
Gibbons
Burgess
Brown
Galbraith
Scott
Turnbull
Thompson
Mitchell
Armstrong
Dowson
At half time
Nowakowski for Burgess
Callaghan for Galbraith
Portas for Scott
Good goal by Thommo against a very decent team that tried to play passing football
I would guess around 120 were there

Why didn't we think of this a couple of years ago
Gets us out of a cup we are forced to enter just hope there is no fine
Shame though that Thommo now misses the more important Trophy game

Mitchell MOM????
Was his mam the match sponsor
Not all his fault as played out of position but truly woeful in the first half

Re: Ball boys and half-time
My son is also a ball boy Before the game when the subs are kicking into the goal they collect the balls and throw them back to help out I know why don't we try and discourage the few kids we have going to the match(after all they could sit at home watching TV football and buy a Chelsea shirt like m...

Re: Whitby Town v Darlington FC
Some positives to come out of a disappointing afternoon 1 Most importantly that Armstrong got on the pitch and got back into action with a decent shot 2 Kneeshaw looked lively and given we had no midfield to supply him did well 3 We confirmed that if Jameson even feels a cold coming on we need to fi...

What I really like is how our players were so quick to tweet tonight at the final whistle.
They had obviously been as keen as us to know the result
All in it together not something that could have been said a few years ago !!

Re: No programmes tonight
Divas-this is fact not excuse . I certainly sleep easy knowing that over a long period of time I put the "graft" into helping this club. For info it wasn't an off the cuff remark. I am guessing that our 1 permanent staff member is one more then many of our fellow NL clubs yet over the years having a...

Divas-Given I spent over 5 years regularly compiling a full page for every matchday programme dont think I wouldn't be willing to, its just to be honest I have lots of work commitments these days but in the past I have certainly given lots of my time to this club.......

Re: No programmes tonight
Lets be really clear here Had West Auckland, Shildon, Norton etc not produced a programme then the majority on here would have been the first to fall over themselves calling this a "jumpers for goalposts league" that cannot even do the simplest of things. Can I remind you that only last week there w...

Re: Favourite Darlo performance
A few such as Welling and a late 2-1 win at Scarboro in the 90s when Bannister was brilliant but the best has to be the 1-1 draw at promotion chasing Boro on a Sunday morning in 87.Alan Roberts late equaliser was pure heaven to put it into context at the time as unexpected as if we were to go to Fle...

talk about the current situation bringing back memories, I was just thinking about the trip to Holker St in that season a poor 0-0 draw on New Years day, lots of hangovers, vomiting on the bus and the wettest I have ever gotten at a football match

Re: Raj, I hold you responsible, YES YOU..........
Raj, you were the man in charge. You set the budgets and had the final say on everything. Yet you try to pass the blame onto the players, the ex manager, and the fans. You've made big mistakes and then walked away. So there's nothing new to see. You're no better than previous DFC Chairmen. As soon a...
