Re: Darlington V Southport
I’ve learnt not to take anything for granted as a Darlo fan but even if we fluff our last two matches I can’t see Blyth picking up any more points, they really have dropped like a stone.

Re: Darlington V Chorley
We’re Darlo, we knew we wouldn’t do this the easy way. I’m hoping it’s a blip and we can get back to winning ways on Monday with what should be a very good away following. It definitely won’t be a draw that’s for sure we don’t seem to bother with those!

Re: Darlington V Chorley
If that goal was given it’s a totally different game, we wouldn’t have fallen to bits like that anyway. That’s two massive mistakes in a week for the ref, absolutely disgraceful and clearly not fit for this level. Chorley are a good side, if it’s any consolation none of the teams we have left to pla...

Re: Darlington V Peterborough Sports
Another massive win. Pleased we don’t have a match Tuesday and now we can get two training sessions in before the 6 pointer next week. I see Bishop Stortford were relegated with 17 points today, 6 of which were gifted by us! Shows how far we have come in the last few months, Watson and Mitchell are...

Re: Blyth V Darlington
IF we do stay up, would this beat Hodgy's season 03/04 in terms of where we were league-wise? Steve Watson has done wonders just to get us within touching distance of safety and makes you wonder what prevented us from employing him after AA because if we could of we may have even made the playoffs ...

Re: Blyth V Darlington
Blyth haven’t won in 10 now, their commentator called it ‘worse than relegation form’. I’ve never heard it put like that before as I don’t know what could get worse than relegation but
but I’d fancy them to go down.

Re: Blyth V Darlington
Hoping we can get a couple of loans in if that’s possible as you can see some of the lads are playing with knocks/looking very tired towards the end of the match. Cliche but 7 cup finals left, I’ve got every belief we can do it which I didn’t dream of saying a few months ago. I think our biggest cha...

Re: Blyth V Darlington
Phew! When Cornish didn’t pull the trigger to make it 3-0 I was worried we might regret that, I especially felt it with the last minute goal line clearance! Massive 3 points and we’re out of the relegation zone for the first time in what feels like years. Looked like Hatfield took a knock at the end...

Re: Blyth V Darlington
We’ve played some really poor passes and wasted possession so I’m relieved to be ahead at half time. What a goal by Cornish by the way. Saw Hatfield and Salkeld having a bit of a discussion so at least they know that they can do better and what’s expected of them in the second half. Great following ...

Re: Points deduction
The Bury 2 match ban was for discriminatory language. My understanding is that it was for about 8 separate charges in the past 2 seasons. These have ranged from racism, pitch invasions, general violent disorder and also pyros. https://www.burytimes.co.uk/sport/football/shakers/shakersupdates/241645...

Re: National League TV.
You can pause DFR until it is in sync with NLTV. Took me a while to find it on my phone - an Android. With the mixlr app running you go back to the front screen where you normally login to the phone with your PIN and you will see Mixlr with a pause button on it. You still have to mess about a bit t...

Re: National League TV.
I’ve watched a few this season, our home matches always have commentary but the away matches are hit and miss. To be honest with their accents having no commentary on Tuesday might not be a bad thing as I don’t believe there are any subtitles. Quality isn’t too bad considering, one of the matches w...

I’m hoping we have it sewn up by the time we get to Chester. We don’t seem to do draws but I’d say all of our remaining home games are winnable, we owe Chorley one as well!

Re: Spennymoor V Darlington
If we had been in the same league for longer than 11 years then Spenny would have thought of as a bigger match than Hartlepool, it’s closer for a start, we even share a postcode! Unfortunately for them they have been a northern league side for much of their history and we were in the football league...

Re: Darlo V Scunthorpe
Unbelievable tonight. All I’m going to say is get Steve and Terry on contracts for next season, whatever the cost. If they keep us up I’ll build them both a statue, the Bishop Stortford match was the worst I’ve ever seen us play and I thought we were doomed. I have a lot of faith that they will suc...

PS: I’m very pleased the match was postponed in January as I don’t think we’d have won that one. Something has clicked and confidence is sky high at the minute, long may it continue!

Re: Darlo V Scunthorpe
I watched the Scunthorpe away league match and attended the FA Trophy match and I can’t remember us laying a glove on them. Tonight we have totally outplayed them, every single player was superb. Before the match I’d have taken a point but hoped to sneak a win, I never imagined this happening at all...

Re: Darlo V Scunthorpe
We have been absolutely superb here, the best half of football I’ve seen from us this season by far, especially as we’re playing a full time team who are second in the table. I’ve supported Darlo long enough to take nothing for granted so let’s keep it up in the second half haway lads!

Re: Darlington v Banbury 2/03/24
I felt low after the Boston match as we played well and still lost and honestly thought Nelson wouldn’t score again, to win the next 3 with Nelson scoring in each game has given me a lot of hope but as others have said it’s the hope that kills you. I’m not concentrating on other teams as the minute ...

Re: Curzon V Darlington
It is incredible that Curzon get the crowds they do and play at the level they are. It’s population is only 10.000 or so bigger than Billingham and the two Ashton teams play at a much higher level. They share a tram line with the Etihad and are also within 10 miles of Man Utd, Oldham, Stockport plus...

Re: Away Shirt Vote
I’ll buy the shirt regardless of which option wins. I collect them these days as i’m far too portly to fit into a football shirt. However, I will say that the last three green shirts we have had were bloody awful, the last one looked like a quality street wrapper, the Air Ambulance (Great cause mind...

Re: More local competition for good players now at Blyth
I shuddered when I read the sleeping giant line, I remember a certain ex owner of ours saying the same thing about us! Hope he turns out to be more like their previous owner rather than the three owners of the apocalypse that we had leading up to 2012. Good luck to them, it’s a smashing away day! R...

How hard can it be for Ray to ask if there’s any fresh faces coming in. The worst Watson can say is we got turned down or there’s nobody out there that he thinks is good enough (Who we’re able to sign).
Surely there’s a 2018 Andrew Nelson or a 2019 Tyrone O’Neill out there.
