Re: Season at risk of finishing early
My concern is that clubs who are either generously backed or who have rolled the dice on this season will be wanting to play on, which could leave others being forced into extremely difficult decisions. It's appalling really that the national league has put us in this position.

Also, i once again find myself grateful that David Johnson is in charge of darlo.

Re: Season at risk of finishing early
Yeah, the season has to end. I'll be gutted as frankly, we all need a few things to look forward to at the moment and watching the odd match was mine. But we can't be trying to service a debt like that for however long for a season with no consequences, in grounds without fans, while putting players...

Re: Weymouth V Darlington FC FA Trophy
Who was Morgan? Wasn't that game one of the first after Hodgson returned in the great escape administration season? Looking at that line up makes the job he did seem even more incredible.

Re: Weymouth V Darlington FC FA Trophy
Ten quid and no replays😟😟 More of the same second half and this lot are there for the taking. Makes you realise how good quaker TV is when you see a stream from the division above like this. In fact Swindon had a similar standard to them too - we really are spoilt. Sousa scaring the keks off them t...

Re: Home Kit Vote
I normally sort of go, ah, it's just a kit, I'll wear whatever, but honestly if option 2 is chosen I will stop supporting darlo for good and demand the club reimburse me for all previous money spent. What an abomination.

Re: Farsley coverage
AA continues with what is a 2 man midfield and in reality a 4 man forward line, and to be honest we have struggled in games with 2 there. Realise he is attack minded but currently it does not seem to work. I bet campbell is getting a bit peeved as he seems to be the first one subbed each time. At t...

Re: Set pieces
Individually all our players (well, from midfield forward) are very good. But there's little variation between them. We would really benefit from a big ugly b****** in there somewhere.

Re: Farsley coverage
Rivers also repeatedly failed to control the ball with his first attempt. Once he's got it fine, but you can't have him playing a one two because he doesn't just take the return in his stride.

I'm afraid that set piece goals are not aesthetically pleasing enough for our selection of artistes.

Re: Farsley coverage
Perhaps we could end the season more efficiently by just ending every match 1-0 when we fall behind. Less fatigue for players overall, and given we will inevitably lose from the moment we concede we might as well. The Brackley game would have been much less tiring for the lads if we'd just packed it...

Does anyone know how to watch the game tomorrow night? I can't find any info on the Farsley site.

Re: Oxford university vaccine
Question is, will Quakers be halfway through their backlog of fixtures by April? The lads will be getting a taste of full-time soccer as we will be doing 3 games a week at this rate. Now getting worried about FA Trophy final getting squeezed in ahead of the Euros. Mind, now we have done Brexit and ...

Re: Spennymoor Boxing Day
A point gained rather than 2 dropped and another clean sheet. Difficult to gauge with the conditions who was the better team so probably a fair but frustrating result. Agreed, I was glad we ground out a point to get us on the board at home for the season. Neither side really created enough to say t...

All i ever notice on spenny highlights is how few sponsors they seem to have around the pitch. Do they not have a commercial department or something?

I thought we improved a lot in the second half, first half liverpool were very good and caused us a lot of bother, so it was pleasing to see us step it up like that.

Re: Boston Game To Be Replayed
Fuck them. At first I would have had no problem with them being awarded the points. But after the behaviour of their keeper, crying on twitter that it may have to be replayed, while driving his car, and just being a wanker in general, then fuck them. Fuck them. Would I be happy if it was the other ...

Re: Jason Ainsley
Very interesting, and poses a couple of questions. First, who will they be sniffing about to try to replace him? Is there a really outstanding manager in the region at rhe moment who would be itching for the job? Second, and more interesting to me, is the line about performance pressure. Why has cov...

Re: Ex Darlo players -unsporting behaviour?
The recent thread re Maradona's World Cup handball has got me thinking about if any Darlo players in history have ever misbehaved to get an advantage? I've racked my brains over the last 25 years and can't I really remember much wayward behaviour at all - because our players are such an honest bunc...
