Try Fizzer on Whessoe Road for the cabin, he does summerhouses etc with electrics so would probably be right up his street.
Brilliant thanks thought there would be someone local to do this - just looking on his website now :)

Treadmill and log cabin

I am looking to buy a treadmill, don't want it in the house as it will just become a clothes horse. I have a shed down the bottom of the garden that's just full of rubbish. So the plan is, to buy a log cabin, put electrics in and put the treadmill in there as well has having space for storing the ou...

Re: Craig Morley

I’ve been in hospitality a number of times this season and the food and service has vastly improved. TBH I wasn’t that Keen on Craig at first as I’d heard a few comments about him “book & cover” but I’ve always found him very helpful and he’s certainly passionate about DFC which is what you want in...

you could have understood if it was last night as the rain was bad, but since last night the rain has gone - so it would have been easy to have make a yes or no decision this morning.

Re: Harrogate Match

Harrogate were several notches above us & Solihull. The lads looked tired & not even our new signing could lift us. Thommo had a few half chances but never put his laces through the ball. No disgrace, but lots of progress on last season, maybe fringes of the play-offs. Yes agreed. I can't understan...

Re: Craig Morely

there could be a whole number of reasons from his side or the clubs side. We never found out why John Woolnough left - although I get the impression he his quite bitter about it.

Re: Elliot and Connel

Like both keepers and credit to Elliott for turning it around after his injury. The No.1 Jersey is rightfully his atm. But my personal feeling will always be the same, two no.1 goalkeepers is a luxury we cant afford and isn't the best use of budget. Single No.1, with either a GK coach (like Bell wa...

Re: Darlington V Gloucester

1 point off the play offs and three playoff places seem up for grabs at the minute - if we can keep in and around the pack - Alun has shown he can string wins together and I think we have the squad to do it for the first time since Gray left. The bench was strong today and we have players to come ba...

Re: Interview with Johnston on Official Website

Listening to the interview again it looks as though DJ is going to Walsall to assist him putting a plan together to justify / or how he could make a new stadium work. If some land does become available and grants are on offer and to get the additional/remaining funding, a business plan with how the ...

Re: Interview with Johnston on Official Website

What is just as important as getting the new stadium is that the running costs (overheads) of the new stadium need to be as slick as possible. The Arena is far to expensive to run and maybe Mowden have found a way to make it work but it is a risky business. While I share many of the concerns of peop...

I don't know John or what he did for the club, but to be blocked for having an opinion is a bit strange. My only thinking is that either he left under a cloud or its his relationship with the Bermudan players that the club don't like. At the end of the day from the limited knowledge of what I know t...

Osagi Bascome and Justin Donawa

Have gone on international duty and will miss Saturday and the FA cup replay. We are really down to the bare bones, must be difficult for Alun as these guys currently are not starters so we would literally signing players to fill the bench - but I think the time has come to get a new striker at leas...

Re: Just back from Walsall ~ Brief Report

Watching the BBC highlights and listening to the BBC reports, they were blaming Connell for both goals - I think he was due an off day, as he has been phenomenal since he has been with us. The biggest thing for me is the team spirit we had - that goes a long way in football.

Elliott

Spare a thought for Chris Elliott who signed at the start of the season as number 1, I know it’s football but I’m sure he’ll think that he’s got no chance of playing in front of Connell. It would make sense to loan him out to get some confidence!

Re: O'Neill recalled

Huge blow but I don’t think it’s worth getting any replacement until after Saturday. Campbell needs to step up as he has been playing wide left lately and Thommo should just slot straight in. Our biggest strength lately has been our defence so hopefully we can get the Connell deal sorted. I think it...

Re: Liam Connell - Boost the Budget

I would be happy if we had to pay a small fee to keep him for another month, so he gets his chance at playing a football league team (he deserves it). At the end of the next loan spell we need to see where we are in the league - if we are in and around the playoffs then hopefully we can do as deal w...

Re: Liam Connell - Boost the Budget

If we wait until the end of the season we might not even need him as way may have found another gem by then. Liam knows that this needs sorting in the next couple of weeks otherwise football moves on. I can’t see any harm in him signing for another month with an emergency call back.

To be honest Clive Owen are a well respected firm of accountants and I doubt they will be charging the earth - the main thing is that the cashflow is managed and that we keep within the budget. I don't see John Woolnough going as any issue - I think more than likely he was spending too much time inv...

Interesting article where AA says we are contributing "a bit towards his wage" at Boston. Looks like AA and the Board did a good job in saving us some money before his contract expires. I guess the difference between Ainge and Burn is that one wants to play regularly, and the other appears not to w...

It's really sad that the signing of a Darlington lad should have turned into this awful saga. Whatever the rights and wrongs, thank God it has finally been brought to an end. We should not be offering 2 year contracts to anybody, ok Galbraith and Thommo are exceptions but this has been worse than t...

I think the unwillingness to go out on loan says a lot. Best scenario him going, local lad that has not done himself any favours.
