The Moderators on this board.

Are they checking every single post that's written??

Extremely tedious if this is the case.

Just need to look at this to see why more should be getting on board.... https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/darlington/form-guide/eight Really impressive stats from us but shocked to see The Pride have only 8 points from a possible 24. Also, If we need to knock half a terrace up at the end of blackwell I'm sure we could fund raise to pay for it. We've hit pretty much every other fundraising target over the years so another block of concrete will be no bother.

The thing is, there is a massive Elephant in the room. It’s really big and just sat there doing nothing, and it is - where do we play if we get promoted? How much will it cost? How will it be paid for? Armstrong and his players left Blyth because their chairman put a lid on their footballing ambiti...

According to the radio commentator, Reid is our emergency keeper option.

So he can attack, defend and play in goal.

Re: Eight games in 29 days.

Tonight will be our 9th game in 32 days!

The fixtures just keep on coming at us and for this reason I don't expect much to be gleaned from this trip to Guisely - we will be lucky to get a draw I.M.O.

18 out of a possible 21 available is nothing short of promotion form.
15 from 18, but still not too shabby.
Two of the eight were cup games, so yes, 15 points - it seems we don’t do draws anymore.

When Tommy was here I was pleased with a draw

Eight games in 29 days.

I’ve been following Darlo close to 25 years and I’m sure I’ve never seen 8 consecutive games before - and that’s in the space of a month too. I saw a lot of matches during our last promotion season and also in the Northern League, but in groups of up to 4 or 5 in a row - never 8. This recent footbal...

Re: Today's results Saturday January 18th 2020

I'm so glad we won against Alfreton, some teams in our division try to play watchable football but unfortunately they don't - and a mini shout out to HarryChartonsCat who predicted mid September that "The league season is over as far as play-offs are concerned". I'm not having a pop here Harry but S...

Re: Darlington V Alfreton

A victory for football.

If I was an Alfreton player I’d be wanting a transfer because they will be under instructions to play like this way every game, we as Darlo fans only have to watch this one dimensional team twice a season. And we’ve beaten them twice to boot.

A big day out for York today, away to Kings Lynn.

They still haven’t got the go ahead to move stadium and I wonder if they will be forced to move in with a handful of important home fixtures left to play?

Re: Darlington V Alfreton

Tomorrow will be the 8th game in a busy sequence that started V York on the 21st of last month. I will have seen them all - all being well, and we've hd some good results during this period. That's 8 games in less than a month.

Away at Alfreton was the match when our players finally got it together. They took the battering that Alfreton gave out - then outplayed them.

Liddle in particular was brilliant.

If the muddy wet patch had been in or around the centre of the pitch - the Spennymoor players would never have noticed.

Re: Spennymoor game off

Given the amount of rain that had fallen it would have been prudent to get a local ref to have a look at the pitch in good time. They didn't and allowed fans and players to travel, even issuing assurances that everything was OK.Of course, once the ref deemed areas of the pitch unfit, they immediate...

When this used to happen at Feethams it did my head in, but that was over 20 years ago and communications, weather forecasting and pitches themselves are so much better now.

Pete, I think you may have misunderstood my point -

- yes we should be giving it our all, the players should be giving it their all, but as a supporter the situation isn't as stressful as normal, like when we were trying to get out of the Northern League for example.

Is it possible that for now he’s done all he can do? I mean in every season, there’s only so much advertising and other stuff that can be done.

Possibly?
