If its like the premier atm, its 3 opportunities to make a max 5 subs. Because of that, i think its a crap rule. It was ludicrous that Man U had to finish the game with 10 men, due to injury, despite 'only' having made 4 subs.
Stick to 3, its plenty.

Re: Unwanted posts on here
Can I ask Mikky why posts especially on this forum, which are clearly spam are not being deleted after they have been reported? them being left on here is encouraging others to post their rubbish on here. I have PM'd Mikky about this issue, the PM has been read but no response & the posts are just ...

BBC Sport page - "Premier League are giving £20m to NHS and advancing their £125m payments to EFL and National League, which would have taken place in August" "Advancing" I don't know what this means. Or anything else about it TBH. The pl give that every August, this year they are giving it early, ...

PL bottled it & leaving everything to someone else to make a decision. Pathetic. Stop being a twat. What decision do you want them to make? No one knows when this pandemic will end and restrictions will be lifted. So what exactly do you want? And who is this ‘someone else’. Spot on btw Gramps! Its ...

Re: Season VOIDED
Id be inclined to finish this season when they can, and use the time from now to work out a different way for next season to work so that there is still some football, even if its reduced to playing each team once.

Re: Contracts
Not everyone is as cautious with their contracts. Kings Lynn have just signed striker Dayle Southwell and given him a two-and-a-half-year contract. He had apparently been on more than £1,000 a week at Halifax. Another club with an owner pumping the money in. This is why we must aim for promotion as...

Quite often our stewards go to steward Darlo fans at away games. I'm sure our stewards will be at the game today & they could easily point them out to the Spennymoor officials, who could deny them access. Theres just no need, has there been an issue at any of the games mentioned? Leave the lad to h...

To me H1987 is bringing back memories. The Arena was awful, it's easy to forget this with the passing of time. I didnt mind it tbh, my biggest issue was getting out of the car park afterwards, but its exactly the same at BM. I guess the biggest issue is that we are bursting st the seams from a corp...

We’re now doing season tickets where you can pay £20 a month (adult standing) so you don’t even have to shell out a lump sum! I think it would be a wise decision. The players have shown in the first two games that when the click and up the tempo they can be really good. The longer they play togethe...

I'm not overly worried about any perceived lack of fitness at this stage, they'd only had what, 4 training sessions and then straight into a game against a pro outfit? Seems unreasonable criticism to me. I'd loved to have read some scouting assessments for us last year though... the fitness comment...

So the “ordinary” fan doesn’t give a monkeys about league 2? That’s a bit condescending wouldn’t you say? Sky has always been about appealing to the masses though. Why not it’s a good business model but the fact remains that league 2 wouldn’t be televised live at all if it wasn’t for the internatio...

No, why would we? He was mutually released from his contract. He wanted to go, we wanted him off the wage bill. We can't have it both ways. The only way to get a fee for him would have been to refuse to cancel his contract. I was trying to point that out to Andy. See my comments above I know we wil...

You can set ignore for posters.
I'd question the validity of any statement that begins "I'm not violent, but" as it sounds almost like "I'm not racist, but" and my experience of people using that phrase would indicate otherwise.

Joking aside, the fact that Armstrong has now brought a decent core of his Blyth team with him (and hopefully a couple more to come) bodes really well for next season. A good core of players who already understand the way he's likely to want us to play, and presumably who all get along well and bri...

In the light of what was said last night about Wheatley's hernia , would it be worth our while funding his op buy going private , as he's our player/asset it would be in our interest to get this done so he's fit for the start of the season, I looked at basic costing's and it's about £3000 to £4000,...

There's an awful lot that the FA can do but they can't be bothered as has been said, Darlington fc didn't go into administration but the previous owner didn't give the golden share over so they the FA deamed us a new club chucking us down 5 leagues, so yes the FA could Do more than they do to allev...

The problem would arise if the female manager took a fancy to one of our players. For example if Tommo was having a stinker but our new gaffer had a soft spot for smaller rugged looking players with tatts and a slight bald patch, would she really haul him off if he was having a stinker. Likewise if...

Very few if any managers, especially at this level will ever get their contract paid up. There will be all sorts of. It is clauses for both parties. The insistence of fans knowing the finer details of the contract has irked me. He’s gone now and still the questions rumble on. These questions weren’...
