Re: Moke gone

Sort of a shame he never got a goodbye game. Assume he must have an offer lined up somewhere. Left by mutual consent so suits both parties. Who is next? I'd say Sukar but if he doesn't have a club lined up or isn't fit to play then he may as well see out the final weeks of his contract. Then I'd ex...

We are told there will be no new information available on the proposed new ground at the AGM but DJ will take questions. The obvious one being........ Why is there no update on the proposed new ground? This could get interesting!

Re: Darlington V Peterborough Sports

Me personally I would go full strength at Rushall and hopefully get the win which realistically barring a complete capitulation would see us pretty much safe. Then I'd be giving a day off to the likes of Barrow, Main, Cornish in the Chorley game. Are you stupid? The lads are being ran into the grou...

Just noticed that Moke is back from Ashton, obviously speculation about him being sold.
Or we need him back for the run in? Squad really stretched. Yet we still seem to have Windass and that guy whose name I can't even bother to try and spell.

Re: Darlo V Scunthorpe

Sadly no Rivers or Liddle. I still think a physio update like we had previously would be helpful. I'm ambivalent about Asante but confused as this was from the Curzon preview: Akwasi Asante is out with a groin injury, but he hopes to be back in full training on Thursday. No mention of Moke so presu...

Intrigued as to why he is no longer listed on our Squad page, Sukar is who is also out on loan. Windass and Asileiou still listed do they actually exist?

Re: Darlington v Banbury 2/03/24

Another massive win. Credit to Steve and Terry they have turned us around massively, 18 points from their 12 games in charge. Perfect for the 1.5 points per game we needed to survive when they both came in. We really need them both signed up long term, would be a huge boost to the club and the fan ...

This guys a warrior Surely playing with a near broken arm can't be anything like as painful as a groin strain? What's "near broken"? Its either broken or it isn't, surely? I guess its either just badly bruised or perhaps a hairline fracture? Either way, no I doubt its as bad as a groin strain as fa...

Re: Curzon V Darlington

We had 9 shots in the second half. How many up until Hatfield's goal? 0 or 1 perhaps. There are 6 on the highlights. On target before Hatfield's goal? I don't think so. The point I am making is that the opposition keeper could barely stand up, but Darlo weren't testing him with strikes on target or...

Re: Curzon V Darlington

We still need to try more shots from outside the box as Will showed us the way. Particularly when the opposition keeper is playing on one leg. Don't think I've ever seen a keeper having to carry on when they are as hampered as that by injury. He looked to be in agony. Their keeper could barely stan...

Re: Curzon V Darlington

I'll bet the owners of Curzon Ashton sometimes feel like they're pushing a large boulder uphill in terms of attendances. Last Tuesday's home game with Peterborough Sports attracted just 149 people. Must be a bit demoralising when they compete very well at this level. The ground's excellent (althoug...

Only so much you can do with a hooped shirt, other than the collared shirt (which looks a bit like a golf top to me), they're all much of a muchness and all completely fine if you ask me. I am possibly mistaken but I thought we were going to get non hooped options every third season. Like you I can...

We seem so far off the mark with keeping fans informed it’s crazy , fan engagement at an all time low for me
I agree.
