Re: Squad numbers

I have never understood the Science (or Maths) behind squad numbers. It all makes sense until after Rivers. Why do we have a number 77 and number 44 etc?

Re: Holmes out for the season

Sad to read that he's out for another season. Made me wonder about personal injury insurance the club might have in place for contracted players. The last set of accounts to year ended 30/06/19 only showed insurance amount of £1,500 which is far too small for any personal injury cover. So I wondered...

One of the best players to never turn professional, got to admire him for not having his head turned and staying loyal to Blyth for so long. Seems like he was happy enough to just play Part-Time football and work at his Mam's pub  Who cares he doesn't play for us he's never played for us. Thi...

Is the game being streamed live, and is it being shown un in the clubhouse?

It takes a special kind of genius to come up with this -.

Re: RESIGNATION OF DRFC CHAIRMAN

I think you know very well what I meant. It is perhaps a little surprising that in these unusual and testing times Mr Wilkinson should choose to handover the position of chairman when his experience is most needed. That is all I was referring to. It is of course entirely his decision to make but it...

Re: RESIGNATION OF DRFC CHAIRMAN

Never been a fan of Mr Wilkinson but you cannot deny he made a good deal for DRFC when he negotiated the deal with us. He did his job and got an agreement that seems heavily loaded in their favour as he knew we were desperate. Hope his replacement is someone we can get on with. The timing is intere...

Still no decision regards our request to play at the Arena? How long do the League need to make a decision. Clearly the venue cannot be the problem as it must be better (Safer) than most grounds in NLN. There is no rush until the outcome of the pilots is received and we actually start to plan for t...

I see no movement on this front, can only assume it's going to be a season long loan now,
Time ticking down to restart the season, I will be going if allowed wearing a mask and social distancing.
Can you play in Goal you don't need to wear a mask!

Start of last season, based at the Dolphin and play their games I think at Billingham.

From a personal point of view I already decided I will not be attending while restrictions are in place so whether it's at BM or the Arena makes no difference to me.
