It's a staple feelgood song now. It was Peter Kay who popularised it at his shows recently and it's spread like that.
Peter Kay has NOT toured recently! I am still miffed at him after spending 2 hours on the internet getting tickets for his last tour couple of years ago that he then cancelled. 👊

I find myself wondering if the lighting is the responsibility of the landlord or the tenant, but at least they are working well enough to get the second half under way.
You could not make this up if you tried are they back on yet?

Re: Darlington v Chester

I think he means what I've always called a 'rebound goal'. During the promotion season under Cyril Knowles we were experts at them. It's where a shot gets deflected in the box and someone else is on hand to score from the rebound. You need a bit of luck for the ball to drop favourably. I guess ever...

It’s been a tough week but we have a chance to get back on track tomorrow. Not sure if Hadfield is banned for this game. If so will be a big miss. Hopefully we will get a positive response from the players and get something out of the game.Chester will be a hard nut to crack but we are capable of pl...

Re: Wheatley & Connell not in squad ?

Perhaps if SS get beat on Tuesday and you then want to convince them that Connell can play for us in the FA Trophy, calling them out on your official website maybe isn't the best way. It doesn't seem an unreasonable request for the parent club to not want a player on loan to become Cup tied. So I d...

Presume we don't want to upset South Shields, if we are trying to keep a good relationship with them.

I agree an ideal opportunity for us to make progress in a competition that we have had much success in recent years. The weather looks horrendous today, so it's bound to affect the crowd. In the run up to Christmas, ST holders & 500 club members will have to pay, plus only a few away fans, means a ...

They don’t grow on trees unfortunately. AA went back in for Tyrone but that was a no-go. If it's a draw I see there's a replay date but I've just read Colne v Southport will play to a finish. Is this something teams can just decide between them? Interesting. Do you mean a bit like when you played football in the park as a kid and you were losing 36-24 and someone said "next goal wins"?

I agree - we aren't that Blyth team, the playoffs aren't the be all and end all, we probably will end up midtable, and we definitely shouldn't be resting players in a cup match for the league games.
