Re: Gates

Increasing capacity to 4000 is far from easy. You can only build on about 60% of the open end. A terrace would increase capacity but you'd lose the equivalent of four rows deep standing in front of it. So you are taking about a terrace of 1400 or so, which is not cheap at all. It would have to be t...

There’s also 4 times the usual amount per turnstile to deal with. It still takes time to scan and process fans. If people turn up after 7:30 they risk not seeing kick off

Re: Full blackwell

Based on the Halifax game it would be suicide. Those floating fans who turned up and couldn’t see the game wouldn’t come again. I’d rather a “comfortable” 2500. I’m all for making money from the game but we’ve got to balance it with ensuring the experience is good so those that do come might think a...

Re: Second Round Draw

Not being a doom merchant but I'll be surprised if we reach the 2nd round, reason being that historically lower league teams normally fail on their second bite of the cherry against a higher team. Cup shocks normally have to be done on the day or generally the chance has passed. Hope I'm wrong of c...

What chances of their pitch being waterlogged? Must admit the thought had crossed my mind when I’ve read about the flooding in the north midlands this morning. I’m travelling down this evening so I’m in the lap of the gods :silent: Looking at the weather maps it looks as though it should be pretty ...

It was the legendary Hodgy signing Stephen Thomas who was always two weeks away.

All 3 long term absentees have had their operations. I think we’re looking at mid Jan / early Feb for Atkinson depending how long it takes to get him up to speed again.

what do we think will be the TV games.
Harrogate v Pompey
Leyton Orient v Maldon & Tiptree

Seem obvious choices but a bit more difficult to pick the other 2.

Completely different player to Turnbull though. Hatfield is a genuine box to box player, the like of we’ve not seen for some time.

Whichever way he goes today it’ll be a massively strong bench today. Lots to call upon later if needed to add a different dimension against tiring legs.

Boston is my local club and their ground is huge with masses of advertising space. Jakemans sponsor the stadium and the Co-operative has a significant sponsorship with one of the stands. Their new ground is on the edge of town and is part of a massive new project, with new houses and a retail park....

Ho ho ho, that's Singh's first knee-jerk. It will go downhill from here. I pray that Gray gets the job because they clearly want to work together, and the bonus is that Gray will take them backwards. Not only that but the fans will go into total meltdown - they absolutely hate him and that’s before...

Plenty of practice against that sort of attack having recently played Alfreton and to a slightly lesser extent Leamington.

York was back in 17/18 bit he has been registered with 3 clubs in 2019 - Lillestrom, Valur and IBV. I always thought it was 3 clubs in a season rather than a calendar year. Currently, under the FIFA Transfer Regulations, a football player is only allowed to be registered with a maximum of three club...

I don’t get the competition specific aspect when four cards were in the league and one in the cup. To me, that suggests he’s not suspended for either competition?
