Depends what the council risk assessment says.... below 1000 I’d imagine if social distancing still applies....
Social distancing will apply so BM is going to be around 500 capacity.

So if we are in tier 2 and can host 2,000 fans then the Arena will be the only option.

Re: Team v BPA

The is with one eye on next Sunday, we have to give ourselves the best chance of causing an upset. Why? The league is far more important this year. We aren't going to win the FA Cup, and the big prize for a non league club - an away tie at somewhere like Man U, has lost it's value because there won...

Re: ALFRETON ON TV

On another note that’s three goals on the bounce for Sousa, I really liked Donawa but I believe Sousa is an upgrade. Fantastic bit of business by AA. So far so good with Sousa. Nifty wingers tend to run out of steam after a run of games, or they get a bit cold and can't play any more (like Gillies)...

0-0 draw then :D Actually quite a close game in the end, so I called that wrong! They were just starting to get back into it when we scored our second. Credit to Louis Laing, terrific block a couple of minutes before we doubled our lead - that could've been a game changing moment. Sent from my Pixe...

I think we’re being a bit over-confident for a team that has only kept 2 clean sheets in 10! We played some brilliant stuff on Tuesday night but let’s not get too over-confident, as equally as Tuesday was good, this time last week was equally as bad! Yes but Boston just have quality and experience ...

Re: Fans before Christmas

Does this reopen the possibility of playing at the Arena again? To get everyone who wants to watch in person and still comply to social distancing then it makes sense. Having said that, more chance of HMG adding in new tiers which will prevent people in certain areas attending any function by havin...

Re: Fans before Christmas

No team should have to borrow money to replace lost gate income. We've been done over, we only started the season because clubs were assured that their costs would be covered whilst they were playing behind closed doors. We could end up racking up an ever larger debt for 6 months. OK grants cover lo...

Re: Guiseley v Darlington

Should have finished about 8 or 9-0 to us. The woodwork, their keeper and a couple of misses from Campbell kept the score line a bit more respectable.

That they got a goal is almost a crime against football.

Thought Holness was having a good match. We're so much better with a midfield 3 of Wheatley, Hatfield and Holness, in a 4-3-3/4-5-1

Campbell FFS!

Should be on a hat trick.

And Hatfield hit the bar - should be 4-0.

Just the usual Darlo failing to capitalise again.

Get in Maguire 2-0

Re: FA rules on abandonment

Look if it was the other way round and we had been 2-0 up and a Boston player injured, would you still expect the game to be replayed? I think not. I'd be burning with rage Ray, burning with rage - in the best Hodgie stylee, if the shoe was on the other foot. However, it could be argued that play s...

Re: FA rules on abandonment

I think with two players prone after a collision like that it was a bit surprising the game wasn't halted especially in this increasingly cautious health and safety world. Surely even Boston couldn't have complained if the game had been stopped in the circumstances. They were extremely unfortunate ...

Re: FA rules on abandonment

I've watched the incident again - and Hunt was actually fouled, so the ref got it wrong. The Boston player went for the ball and slipped (I don't think the foul was deliberate) and he ended up slide tackling Hunt who because of this headed the ball backwards which went to a Boston player and from t...

Re: FA rules on abandonment

Did we not get a win against warrington after it was abandoned at half time?? We did, it was abandoned after only about 15 minutes when we were already 2-0 up and running absolutely riot. The 2-0 result was given but it could have ended up 6 the way we were playing that day, no one will ever know. ...

Good luck Justin!

End of the day, the guy has came from Bermuda to make it in the game, and this represents a step up to full time pro football - even if it is a placcy, made up, bankrolled club.

Hopefully we have a sell on clause, that's more important than the actual fee IMO.

Re: Support package announced

I could be wrong, but I should imagine that these grants are tax free amounts, whereas any sale of match-day tickets would be subject to VAT deductions. £30k per month seems like enough, as long as it continues until the end of the season or whenever fans are allowed back in, whichever is earlier. ...

Re: Support package announced

Short answer is we just don't know until the Board clarify. I thought that DJ was saying we needed the £250,000 to complete the season after end of December (or January this was never made clear) so as I said above I thought maybe we needed minimum of £50,000 per month throughout the season. If tha...

I maybe wrong but was DJ not referring to how much we needed after our reserves ran out which I think he said would be January? Therefore £250,000 from January to the end of May ie £50,000 per month needed? The reserves won't run out in January though if we get 30k in October, 30k in November, 30k ...

It’s the truth and if you find it offensive that’s your problem.
With Hatfield Wheatley Reid Atkinson and Hedley on the payroll there is no way we could offer a deal to Omar if they were all fit. Why is that so hard for you to understand?
Because Holness is better than Reid, Atkinson and Hedley?

Were blocks 1 to 15 the main stand?
It's the main stand, corner, and the first couple of blocks after the corner. If I remember correctly, blocks 17,18 and 19 were behind the goal.
