Were blocks 1 to 15 the main stand?
It's the main stand, corner, and the first couple of blocks after the corner. If I remember correctly, blocks 17,18 and 19 were behind the goal.

Fylde away. As tinpot and shite as a first fixture of the season can possibly be. And we'll no doubt get tanked 4-1. Good to see you taking a positive view of things. Most of us will just be happy to be playing again. I'm very positive about the season ahead, just Fylde away is as tinpot and shite ...

Re: impact on ground capacity

You’re suggesting that China can hide millions of coronavirus deaths from the rest of the world in the year 2020? Haway man. We need to be realistic here. Not every country has the same freedoms that we enjoy. China don't need to hide anything, they just need to declare 3,000 dead and stick with it...

Re: Ground share

Is there any logical reason that some people hate the Arena . Obviously there were bad times there due to unscrupulous characters who had no interest in the Football Club . The Arena in itself was not and is not the problem . The place is not jinxed or haunted . To state that you would never go the...

And re 'undemocratic', we are one of the most democratic clubs around. If there are those who feel the Arena is some form of 'agenda' from 'Arena worshippers' and that 'we will never leave' - well, they can put themselves forward for DFCSG board membership on that manifesto, and if enough of the fa...

Re: Ground share

I’ve also seen mention elsewhere that the Arena’s capacity is down to 6,000 as only one stand is usable. If so (and I’ve no idea if that is true) then would attendances then be capped at 17 or 33% of 6,000? I can't see that being true, all stands are virtually the same and made out of the same stuf...

Re: Ground share

Yes, reduce capacities to ensure safety, so surely allowing Darlo to move a bigger venue increasing capacity could be viewed as defeating the object? How? The name of the game is not to have as few people as possible attending, it's to have as many people attending as possible, but within what the ...

Re: Ground share

I vaguely remember we had a promotion chasing squad in 2008/2009 laden with good quality prior to going in to administration in the February. That can’t have been cheap to run and I dare say the running costs of the Arena were significantly smaller than what the playing & other staff budgets were a...

Re: Ground share

The way George Houghton pulled the plug on us in 2009 was unforgivable at the end of February we were just outside the top 3 in League 2 with games in hand, had he held on a little longer he could well have left us a decent prospect in League 1 for any potential owner, instead he left Raj Singh wit...

one negative about playing at The Arena is how many of the 'im not going back there brigade' will it put off and will there be enough extra fans to cover the expected extra financial outlay? According to the Echo, DMP RUFC have a salary budget of £350,000 & also need funds to maintain and repair the Arena.

Plans afoot for a salary cap in the National League as well. 900k limit in the National League, 600k at our level is what’s been proposed. Re: Maguire & Langstaff Released

Green is a superb player and I don't think we will be his destination as he will have loads of options. Although this may well be the reason why sorting an attacking midfielder out is taking so long, if we're trying to tempt in him. We're probably also talking to Lambert as well - think he might be ...
