Re: Osagi Bascome and Justin Donawa

So could they have played today or not? Did they have a choice in the matter? Mate watching BT says they opted to go to Mexico ?

Re: Brackley V Darlington

Brackley are very well positioned to take advantage of situations like today as well. They are a big, strong, experienced and very well resourced side, courtesy of their multi-multi millionaire owner, Allan Leighton (Google him), who backs them to the hilt despite their tiny crowds. They not only h...

Re: Osagi Bascome and Justin Donawa

I think I saw a £100k figure on here brought in through the cup run so more than enough for Alan to strengthen the team I would have thought. Only a fraction of the cup run cash would be available as there are long-term commitments which also need the money. Best we could hope for is to get O'Neill...

Re: Osagi Bascome and Justin Donawa

In AA I trust he can find a nugget from Boro or Sunderland, Leeds god knows to get on the bench for Saturday and provide cover on Wednesday. However imagine the story if his young lad gets on, plays well and scores? Now that would make the news! Walsall signings prohibited already covered on the ot...

I voted for Nicholson as player of the season as I thought he was probably the most consistent performer over the course of the season. His goals were significant to our survival especially after Styche and Syers left.

Re: Liam Connell - Boost the Budget

Just been reading that Shields' other young keeper has been playing for Whickham on dual registration so maybe they want Connell back for bench duty in case the Blackpool lad gets crocked. Played 3 times for Stockton this season and he was very good indeed (Ross Coombes) is his name. Bizarre how th...

Re: Darlington V Kidderminster

Thought we played some good stuff in the first half but it was a bit backs to the wall in the second and that save at the end was a worldly. You have to ask yourself how good must the Shields keeper be to be keeping Liam out of the side. Hopefully a deal can be done for at least another months loan....

That's the last thing we need is their manager getting the sack & then them having a new manager bounce when they play us. It’s a myth Pete. To be fair, Chichester achievement far exceeds our own anyway having started in the extra preliminary round.

Fairytale for them getting the bye. They’ve also said they’re donating some of the money to Bury fund which is top class!

It would be fantastic if we could get Ipswich town away a dream draw for Alun Armstrong one of his former clubs.we played them at Portman road in the league cup in the mid 1980's but I missed out has I was in a dead end job at the time. I know Whitby are in the league below us, are they the lowest team ( in terms of league) left in the cup, from the northern section? Anyone Chippenham is the lowest ranked club still standing. Can you imagine the windfall of getting Man UTD away in the 3rd round....and we wouldn't have a desperate single owner chairman partly syphoning the cash for themselves and gambling the rest on the club.
