Re: Darlo v York

Disappointed with the loss and the injury situation but it’s important to remember that this is a rebuilding exercise and were only in mid September.

Still buy into AA philosophy. Light years ahead of the TW regime.

Re: Darlo v York

Definitely competed but I got the impression they were happy to let us have plenty of possession without believing we could hurt them. And so it was. Too professional and organised for us today. They’re destined for higher things. As for us, we have easier battles to fight and win! Sent from my iPho...

Re: Darlo v York

A good all round team performance is a must today. No, points are a must - minimum of 1 required. A good performance and defeat does not bring fans back because stayaways look at the results only and league position only. Unfortunately there is no column in the table for "good performance" I'd take...

Re: Josh Heaton

It's a shame as I don't think he has been given a fair crack this time around, although the St Mirren stint may have had more of a negative effect on his ability than we thought. As for freeing up funds for a striker, well it does refer to this in the article. Does it? I’ve read it a few times and ...

On his way already according to the Echo.

I was hoping it would be Burn when I saw the headline. Maybe AA needs to free up budget for a striker?

 Does the early bird season ticket still include two half price match tickets for friends etc. like it did last season? I have a couple of mates interested in coming to the York game that's all. No, not this year. Ah well hopefully they’ll still come along. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do we know when the draw is out? Honestly. Can we have a step 9 side at home please, and just try not to do anything stupid. Stockton, Marske, Thornaby or Sunderland RCA ideally, so it might bump the crowd a bit with local interest. If i cared about an interesting tie, i wouldn't mind Scarborough a...

We avoided them by virtue of them not being in the northern section of the draw.

Well after Chester being called Welsh and Southport getting abuse for being "Scousers" nothing's a geographical surprise. Not to mention the Fylde seaside, of course.
Or the white elephant in the room is Darlington really in County Durham?

For those who haven’t read the report, our wage bill is currently approximately 10% of the median wage bill of a league 2 club.

The solidarity payment wouldn’t come close to bridging the gap either.

Don't buy into the Campbell bashing, think AA got a bit greedy wanting to accommodate all 3 of Rivers, Thompson and Donawa and Campbell just will never suit being on his todd up front. Another lesson, probably had his hand forced a bit with 2 games in 3 days in this heat too, imagine O'Neill was fe...

Don’t Stockton have a sugar daddy as well? They have a great set up built around a plastic pitch. No sugar daddy but they do have a great set up with the 3G pitch and partnership with the local college. I know people who are involved in coaching at the club and they say the finances are less than t...

A couple of ex Quakers on display this evening at the Coverall Stadium. Tom Portas has been class as usual. Never wastes the ball and can ping 30 yard passes for fun. There’s one particular peacock I dread seeing every time I turn up for a game. I can’t remember his name but he’s an older guy who wears his shorts long.
