Re: FA rules on abandonment
In all honesty I think the game should be replayed. Open to interpretation but I believe the game should’ve been stopped before their second goal went in, and if we’re going to chase promotion we need to stop being the nice guys. Do you really think the Salford of years gone by would’ve sacrificed a...

National League meeting within the next hour. I think we all know what’s going to happen, if they have any common sense.

Surely we should fancy our chances against Kettering. I have that down as a win. Don’t think we’ll take anything from Gateshead though, happy to be proven wrong of course.

1st goal, ref was correct other than the yellow card. Most annoying thing was we caused it ourselves. 1. The quick throw to Hedley (which you could argue wasn't anything bad) 2. He panicked a bit and passed it straight back 3. It bobbles up and Connell instinctively puts his hand up 4. They they pu...

Would never have predicted we’d be in this position after the Telford and Leamington sucker punches. Credit to Alun and the team

Re: Darlington V Gloucester
Have you noticed that we seem to score a lot more goals at the open end, rather than the tinshed end? Believe we have only scored 6 goals at the Tin Shed end all season! Rivers vs Kettering Thompson vs Kettering (penalty) Thompson vs Blyth Donawa vs Gainsborough Thompson vs Spennymoor (penalty) Hol...

Re: Darlington V Solihull Moors
Some squad we have as well. Gary Martin is allegedly sorted for Saturday. AA has a tough job to select the team if Wheatley is fit too. Not to mention Reid cup-tied, Atkinson back on the bench, Holmes running pre-match. Can’t wait for Saturday! Interestingly we play it to a finish without a replay....

Well that was depressing. Criminal to take a short corner at that point, obviously easy to say now, but should’ve just lumped it. Worst second half of football under Armstrong

Hatfield is absolutely brilliant, I’d say he’s the best midfielder we’ve had since 2012, never stops running. Can’t wait for him to get his first goal, have a feeling it’s coming on Saturday.
Should be way higher up the leagues, let’s keep that quiet though!

I’ve always wondered if this was the case. They let you choose on Football Manager, so I always assumed it was.don'tbuythesun wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2019 6:47 pmIf it's a draw I see there's a replay date but I've just read Colne v Southport will play to a finish. Is this something teams can just decide between them? Interesting.

Re: Tamworth V Darlington Match Thread
Anyone calling for Sunderland away or Hartlepool away (did they get through, I haven't checked?) is short sighted. The OBVIOUS best thing for us is the easiest possible home tie in round 1 because there is £36,000 on it. And we're due a home tie. Then if we get through round 1 - same again please i...
