Re: Farsley coverage
Darlington under AA have always played their best football and won their most games with a solid and mobile 3 in midfield, a relatively mobile back 4 and a mobile front 3. The team playing this season have not consistently had anyway near this solidity, mobility or formation. Best team performances ...

Re: Darlington V Telford
Today was a really bad day at the office . Armstrong urgently needs to decide his best 11 and formation and stick to it To many changes are killing this team. In my opinion he needs to build his team around Hedley, Storey, Wheatley, Hatfield, Holness, Campbell and Charman.

Re: Brackley V Darlington
Can someone please tell me why we did not play a straight 4, 3, 3 ? Every time we have changed this formation we have been overran ie first seven or 8 games of the season. Back to old ways today and by all accounts we were overrun. We just cannot play any other formation effectively.

Re: Hartlepool match confirmed at BM
But it is, there's a uptake in tickets and excitement to face our rivals once again. Just because some people don't care for it as it's the 'county cup', this game has added interest and it'll be a good crowd in for it. We're not facing our rivals. We're facing their youth team with our youth team ...

Re: Hartlepool match at the Arena?
Both clubs will play youth and fringe first team I expect. It’s a reserve fixture ultimately. I really can’t believe anyone is excited for this game. It going to be 99% about off the field over what happens on it. I think if lots of tickets are sold, there may be stronger sides taking to the field ...

Re: Pears
I agree wholeheartedly with the above, Darlington over the years have had some top class/brilliant keepers, none more so than an 18 year old from Hebburn who after 12 games playing for Darlo went on to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world where he won 2 league titles and gained 3 England c...

Re: It's a glamorous life

Re: Work on the pitch has started
Apparently the pitch won't be ready for the first two home games Gainsborough won't agree to switch the Wednesday night game but Alfreton have agreed to reverse the Saturday game. So 4 away games to start the season , on the positive side the last time this happened back in the 80s we got promoted ...

Re: Heaton Signs
Can someone please advise where I can find confirmation that Heaton has signed for DFC as I cannot find it either on the DFC Web site or on their Facebook page.
The only press release I can find is the one released by Bamber Bridge
Many thanks
