Re: Brackley V Darlington

Half time we need to get Storey back in the centre, Holness RB and Lambert in the middle. Laing has good delivery but he needs to start getting the basics right.

To be fair our starting 11 is strong , it’s the bench that is a concern, so yeah we can win it👍
We're used to that from last season, well the bench statement anyway!

Re: BT Sport...

It's an important point about strengthening the squad through cup money. AA said that one of the reasons Blyth did so well was due to investing money in the playing squad due to cup runs. However, if you splash the cash and increase the wage bill short term, that will have to be maintained the seas...

He’s just tweeted: “ Just like to take this chance to thank everyone associated with @Official_Darlo all the lads, fans and management. Absolutely loved my loan time there and want to stay but this situation isn't in my hands. Hopefully something changes. Thanks again”

It's his last game unless we extend the loan, which we might do. I would have thought the FA Cup money might let us sign him, but depends if he's still in contract.
He’s out of contract at the end of the season so hopefully South Shields will be open to a deal.

Liam Connell - Boost the Budget

Who’s starting one off then?
It looked like a farewell from him tonight but I hope not! Pulled off another world class save at the end!

Also Storey has been immense since coming in to the team so hopefully we’ll get him on a contract before someone else does!

Not enough has been said about the impact Alex Storey has made, the lad has done brilliantly coming in to the side from the Northern League! Would be great to see him as a replacement to the invisible Jonny Burn going forwards.

Re: King’s Lynn

All I'm going to say is look at how Blyth's season went last season and also bear in mind we've lost key defensive players to injury and of course Jamie Holmes. I think AA will dip into the loan market this week to shore things up at the back and move Atkinson back into central midfield.

I think it would have been Adam Burnicle, Rundle retired last year after playing for Seaham. How did Purewal play?

It might be a hindrance to team selection but great for finance as we’ll receive money if they get called up and for each game they play.

They’d have been better off giving the job to Mr Blyth Robbie Dale alongside an experienced head like Harry Dunn. Clark was a big name given his ex playing days but it’s telling that no one has touched him with a barge pike and he’s been forced to take very uninspiring jobs since he left Huddersfie...

I think it is a bit early to write them off, they are all strangers and it is going to take them time to gel. Aye, but there's some questionable 'quality' in that team. How many players did they sign from the northern league again? Clark isn't playing Robbie Dale either, which is... baffling given ...

Take Dan Maguire out of the Blyth team last season and I bet their performances/results would have been similar to what we are seeing so far this season. Not easy to find a striker like that though. Gary Martin is back training with us in a few weeks time, not sure how long the Icelandic leagues br...

Our curse at Curzon lives to see another day! Defensive errors cost us as we switched off at the back and then our heads dropped. Hatfield worked his socks off and Osagi is still work in progress. This team has a lot of potential but needs time. On a side note, who was the keeper warming Elliott up ...

Re: Darlington V Kettering

Great game that. O’Neill was very effective and tracked back getting his foot in. The simple change of Bascome for Holness allowed Hatfield free reign. He also made himself available to the defenders so they weren’t forced into a long ball. The wingers were receiving the ball in positions where the...
