TBF, it is the "null & void" season which has extended the close season. DJ & AA waiting to see what finances are like for next season after all the options for season ticket refunds, voucher schemes and ludicrous fines by NL, so speculation on targets in transfer market is nil. NL Board did not seem to understand what the 1st offer actually meant then assumed it would be repeated in January. They also completely missed the full implication of "null & void", hence now trying to weasel out of responsibilities.

DJ has got plenty of good points to support the decision not to play Boston. Hopefully, the people hearing the appeal will realise what useless idiots there are on the NL Board and overturn the penalty, and many other clubs in a similar position will take heart.

Any chance we can put this thread to bed? It is so depressing, I just want to put it away together with the 2020/21 season.
